Marilyn's P.O.V.

It had been three days since Shayley and I had gotten coffee together, and we had been texting nonstop! I have to admit, it was so exciting knowing that I was hanging with and texting someone famous like him.

Currently, I was sitting in the booth while my dad and Dave go back and forth about god knows what. Only Austin and Shayley were here today; Austin because he was going to try out some clean vocals, and Shayley because.... I don't really know why Shayley was here, actually. I guess it gave him something to do instead of just sit around with the rest of the band all day. Which probably wast too much fun considering they'd all probably be invested in Alan's stash and Shay HATES the kind of weed Alan gets. Shayley an Austin are strictly medicinal while the others smoke whatever they can get their hands on. The only reason I know this is because we had all talked about it the other day when we went out for lunch. Alan was talking about his stash, trying to be discreet, but not succeeding, and asked if Shay and Austin were interested, to which they both replied a "Fuck no", and stated that Alan's is always shitty.

"You probably buy it from some sixteen year old," Austin laughed. And of course I couldn't contain myself, having a huge laughing fit and making a scene in the middle of the ever classy Taco Bell.

"MARILYN!"

I was snapped out of my thoughts to see my dad looking slightly irritated.

"Uh, yeah," I said. "What?"

"Will you I get us Chic Fil A?" he had a hopeful expression on his face as he asked this.

"Dad," I started. "It's Sunday.."

"Shit!" I heard Dave next to him.

"I could get you guys Firehouse," I suggested, knowing they both loved Firehouse.

"Yeah, that's fine," my dad said. "You know what I want? A large-

"Italian on white, no tomatoes, add bacon," I finished for him.

"Okay smartass," he laughed.

"I'll take the same," Dave said. "But no veggies okay? Thanks Band Bitch."

"Ask them if they want anything," my dad said, referring to Austin and Shayley in the recording booth. "And try not to take two hours this time," he added.

As I walked in, both their heads turned to look at me. Shay gave me a small, genuine smile. And Austin went back to writing, I'm assuming lyrics.

"I just came in to ask if you guys wanted anything from Firehouse," I stated.

"I'd love a large Hook And Ladder," Shayley said.

"Same here," Austin said, looking away from his note pad.

"Alright. I'll be back soon," I smiled.

"Hey, Mare," Austin called after me as I was about to walk out. The name making me cringe.

"Marilyn," I corrected as I turned around.

"Sorry," he laughed slightly. "Would you mind if I came with you? I think I just.. need a break."

"Yeah, I'll stay here, man. I've got a few ideas anyway," Shayley added.

"I don't see why not," I smiled.

The walk to the car was casual, we made a bit of small talk here as there, mostly me asking him what he's been working on all day, to which he haver have a straight answer. I didn't complain, though, because I knew whatever it was, it was going to be amazing, like always.
