Why Didn't You Tell Me Earlier?!?

Gladion's POV 

The others told me everything they new about who this Giovanni guy wanted, Oh I mean Giovanni as in Jace and Layla's father.  I wasn't really listening to anything anyone was saying, I was to focused on watching the silent blonde girl from the Malasade store, I mean Luna... She was really gorgeous, she reminded me of Lillie before she met Ezra; at first glance she was just a shy girl but if you crack her tough shell you see her beautiful spirit ooze out. I mean... Just... Woah... "Gladion, are you even listening?" I snapped out of my trance and found myself resting my chin on my hand which was propped nicely on the table. "O-oh, Yes! I-I mean... No..." Ezra rolled his eyes before speaking once more. 

"Basically, We know that he is looking for Layla, Jace and N. Mom reckons that he is looking for Myself and Luna as well as the other two siblings of ours, he might be looking for Layla and Jaces Mom and her boyfriend and Jace and Layla's older brother. But other than that we don't know who he wants or where the other three siblings are, So we are gonna split up to try to find them all." I nodded to him as he told us that Layla, Jace and her friends would get their Mom and her boyfriend from Kalos to Alola, Himself, Lillie and Hau would go try and find Silver (Jace and Laylas brother) and Myself and Luna would try to find Brett and Amy (the other two siblings.  

After a few hours of getting prepared we all parted ways. Luna and I decided we could go see Ol' Hala, with his years I wouldn't be suprised if he knew everyone in Alola. On the way to Iki town Luna seemed distressed, "Are you okay?"I said calmly. She looked up at me briefly before looking back down at her feet, "Yes... I-its just... Nevermind,"

"Na-No, what is it?" 

"Well, Ezra saved me from those team skull goons and I couldn't notice him. And even if I could I wouldn't be able to say so, I'm not confident about myself. I never have been and I probably never will be. I can't help but think its because I'm not pretty enough, I mean Lillie and Layla they are so beautiful... Everyone likes them, no body likes little old me..." 

"Shut up." I growled. 

"W-what," 

"I said shut up," I turned and grabbed her arm, halting her, "Shut up about not being pretty enough, your gorgeous. Flawless! You have the looks and your an adorable person, your personality is beautiful and so is your face. Sure, Lillie and Layla are pretty, but its all in the eye of the beholder. And as a beholder, looking at you right now," I paused and rested both of my hands on her shoulder , staring straight into her eyes, " I don't need to see anything else to know that you are the most beautiful..." I smiled gently as the silence of the moment engulfed us. She was staring up into my eyes, her mouth was slightly open. All I could see around me was darkness, All I could see was her... Like that romantic scene in a movie, all that was missing was leaning in for a kiss... I stroked her cheek gently with my right hand and began leaning toward her, she also moved towards me analysing my face carefully. 

"Ol' Hala's here to make you holler!" Luna turned her face in the direction of the voice, leaving my lips millimetre's from her cheek.!ti nmad doG. (its god damn it backwards... Don't ask questions...) why did you have to arrive NOW Hala... Out of all the times you could've made an entrance you chose now... "Hi... Hala..." I muttered turning around slowly. I rubbed my forehead with frustration, why do these things always happen to me. Am I not allowed to have a relationship? T-that was a rhetorical question... Yes I know what that is, team skull taught me English language... Actually now I think about it perhaps they weren't the best people to teach a child English...  

Hala took us into his house and gave us both cups of Tapu Cocoa and these exquisite biscuits called Lava Cookies, they were delicious! "So what brings you here?" Hala enquired whilst chewing on a biscuit. 

"Well, sir, we are actually looking for my," she looked up at me, "my brother and sister. We really need them right now, everyone does..."  

"No need to explain, I can tell you where Brett is but Amy is a mystery," 

"Where is Brett?" I leaned towards him eagerly. I placed my hands on my knees and stared Hala in the eyes, I began to sweat; which was strange considering I wasn't hot. A bead of sweat trickled down my forehead as I glanced at Luna who sat nervously tapping her fingers in her lap. " He's with Nanu," there was a long pause between his speech, "He's in Po town," Po town was shut off for reconstructions after the whole Team skull incident. He couldn't possibly be there... 

"B-but, sir, I thought po town was closed after Guzma disbanded Team skull? Will we be able to reach him if he is there? Is Nanu looking afer him? Is he okay?" Luna began to tense up, I wanted to soothe her with a soft touch but I couldn't. She would push me away, say she wouldn't allow it. I don't blame her... After what aggravation i caused her brother...  I looked up to see Hala shaking his head, a frown on his face, he opened his mouth to speak and rested his elbows on his knees, "Gladion... Lets go..." Luna stood up and swung her bag over her shoulder, she grabbed my shoulder and tugged on my shoulder. "But don't you want Hala to he..." Suddenly she let go of my shirt and interrupted me,

"No! All he's going to tell me is that I can't! If he's going to sit on his ass and do nothing about anything then he is no help at all! I want to find my brother! I want to see my family! I want to feel loved again! I don't know who any of my family look like apart from Ezra for gods sake! You don't understand! You haven't lost our family! You had your mommy and daddy to protect you your whole life! And you think your sister didn't suffer when you ditched her to complete your rebellious years?" Tears cascaded down her burning cheeks as she shouted at me. I looked away from her and looked at my shaking hands, "L-lets go..." I whispered and walked out of the room.  

I sat down on the steps of Hala's house and pushed my hair back with both hands, Luna came and stood in front of me. "I'm sorry, Gladion. I was just frustrated..." 

"Why didn't you tell me earlier?" I muttered staring at the floor. 

"What?" she sounded shocked. I stood up and pounded my hand into the stair rail, "Why didn't you tell me earlier?!?"
