The More The Merrier

"Where is the Alola Region?" Ash inquired. Jace smirked, I hadn't seen him smile since he was betrayed by our father and his best friend. His name was N. He was a kind friend and was almost like a sibling to us. We trusted him with all of our secrets, yet he kept one of his biggest from us. He was the leader of the team that had terrorised me and my brother so many times and he knew how much they had done to us. Team Plasma... 

"It's actually quite close to Kalos! It takes 2 days by Cruise as they take you round all of the islands," Jace's smile was amazing. Whenever he smiled everyone in the room would smile, it made everyone just swell up with happiness. When he was upset, everyone was upset, everyone cried whenever he cried. Serena rushed through the door dragging yet another black haired boy in by the hand, "This is my neighbour Calem! He said he would love to come with us to... er... Where are we going?" There was silence whilst everyone exchanged look, Jace grinned. This time it wasn't a happy smile it was a 'I'm doin this to annoy you smile'. "Well I was actually thinking of taking you to the Alola region! It's very nice, I reckon' you will all love it!" I gave him a death stare. He knew for a fact that our father was still there and still looking for him! So why would he want to put five more people in danger? Oh well, I'm sure we'll be fine! Beside's it'll be fun!

"Yeah that sound cool!" I looked at Calem's hand which was still locked with Serena's, "Uh, Serena..." He stretched out his hand awkwardly. Serena pulled her hand a way and blushed.'The tips of Calem's mouth twitched for a moment, "Sorry," he muttered. Everyone laughed, apart from Calem of course. 

"So, when are we leaving?" Serena asked. Jace smiled at her, his white teeth glistening.

"Some time soon I think, but before we go maybe we could have a proper meal rather than just cake," Everyone giggled. I sat beside Ash on the couch as we ate some more cake,

"I'll go get something, Calem, Jace, would you two like to come with?" The two nodded and followed Serena out of the house hastily. Now it was just me and ash sitting on the couch eating cake. After taking a bit of cake, I noticed there was icing covering my fingers. "Ash, you've got a little something on your face," There wasn't actually anything on his face apart from his smile.

"Where?" He asked touching his face .

"Right about," I wiped the icing from my finger onto his nose, "there!" He laughed as he wiped the icing back onto his fingers. He stood up and made a superman like pose as he bellowed in the deepest voice he could, "I'm Ash Ketchum and I am a pokemon master! I declare that in the name of all pokemon, I must now punish you," I stood up and he chased me around the living room trying to smear the icing on my face, I managed to get behind him temporarily before he turned round and made me jump. I tripped on some carpet and fell on top of him, "Oh my god, i'm so sorry Ash!" He chuckled as he wiped the icing on my nose. We remained on the floor as we laughed. Gently, he wiped the icing off with his thumb resting his hand on the side of my face.  We stared into each other's eyes deeply, his hand holding my chesnut brown hair. I bit the inside of my lip as he began to sit up and lean towards my face, "Ash, I..." He stopped and his lips brushed mine, I felt his hot breath on my lips. We still looked into each other's eyes, although it was difficult due to our closeness. He pecked my lips, I felt blood rush to my cheeks as our lips connected. "You Okay?" he whispered.  I smiled at him, showing him a broad grin. I leant in again sitting in his lap, I wrapped my arms around the back of his neck and kissed him. This time the kiss was long and passionate, he wrapped his hands around my waist and pulled me closer as we kissed. Slowly I pull away, he looks at me happily; never before have I ever wanted to kiss someone more.  "Layla Rioux," he paused to breathe, " I think I might just love you...". I closed my eyes, my arms still resting on his shoulders. He pulled me closer to him I slid my hands under his arms and round his back to hold him as he held me. My head rested affectionately on his shoulder, "I think I might just love you too," I felt like crying. I didn't know why but I did. I sniffed quietly, he began to stroke my soft hair. "Don't be afraid Layla, I'll always be here to protect you," he paused as he kissed my forehead gently, "We both will, wont we Pikachu?" I heard Pikachu squeak from behind Ash. I had never wanted to love before, I never wanted to have my heart broken just like my mother did.  Six years and I have never fallen in love with anyone, not after N anyways.  I thought back when N attacked us on the beach, I saw the ocean glistening in front of me as my heart broke in half. I never thought my heart would be healed, but healing can hurt sometime. And now the only ocean around was in my eyes...

N, the one who built me up and tore me down....

The one who broke me for my own good,

All this time I have been putting my heart back together ,

the day I thought I'd never get through...
