"Dad" I said, opening my eyes. He jumped off the chair beside the hospital bed and stood over me, gripping my hand tightly, but all I could think about was Jason. "Where is he?" I asked quietly, trying to adjust to the bright lights.
He swallowed slightly, "We are looking for him."
I nodded and breathed out, feeling a lot better knowing the other guys were out there looking for him and not sitting here doing nothing by my bed side. "Am i-" I stopped myself, not wanting to say the words.
"Wiggle your toes." he said with a small smile.
I gulped, scared of what might or might not happen and not fully wanting to know just in case I actually was paralyzed... but I did it, I wiggled my toes. "Oh my god." I breathed out in relief, and just as Tara walked in
"Robin, how are you feeling?" she asked, placing my chart on the bed and pulling out a light from her pocket then shining it in my eyes
"Okay, better now I know I can feel my legs." I breathed out.
"Yes, that's a relief to us all, you had blood around my spinal cord and it put pressure on your spine, causing you to lose feeling, but the doctor's drained it in surgery." She smiled, putting the light back in her pocket and looking over my chart, "We are going to keep you for a couple days to make sure the fluid doesn't come back, and we will watch over your head injury-"
"Head injury?" I asked, but then remembered Jase punched me in the face and I did also smash my head against the window, "Oh yeah." I nodded.
She gave me and my dad another smile before leaving the room. "Robby, I don't want to overwhelm you, but can you tell me what you remember?" he asked, sitting down in the chair but pulling it closer to the bed.
I nodded, "We were figuring out where we were going, but then a car hit us, it flipped the car and Jase-" I swallowed, "He told me to act like I was dead, he smeared his blood on my face to make me look worse than I did, but I wouldn't do that, I wasn't going to let him get taken alone." I sighed, "But he knocked me out, and that's all I remember."
He took a deep breath in and nodded, "I'd normally kill a boy for putting his hands on you, but he save you." He said with a small smile
"Cause that's who Jase is dad, we have to find him." I cried
"We will find him baby, I promise."
Gemma walked into the room but stopped when she looked over at me, "Dear god." She whispered, "I was so worried about you." She said before walking to me and wrapping her arms around me, placing a kiss on my forehead. "If they don't kill those bastards I'd do it myself." She spat.
"Trust me Gem, no one's making it out after this." she grabbed his hand and squeezed it lightly.
"Go with them, ill stay here." She gave him a smile
His eyes found mine and I nodded, "Just please be careful dad."
He kissed my forehead and left the room, leaving me and Gemma alone. "Wanna talk sweetie?" she asked, sitting down on the chair.
"Are you mad?" I asked in a whisper
She shook her head, "No, never sweetie. You didn't do anything wrong, and neither did Jax, you're old enough to make your own decisions, everyone is seeing that now, of course your dad its going to take longer for him to understand, but he will."
I let out a breath of relief and smiled, "I love him."
"He loves you, truly, he hasn't looked at a whore for a while, and that makes me wonder how long this has been going on,"
