Chapter 5: Marriage?

Marshall

I left the kitchen when gumball yelled at me to get out, I didn't care much about it. he was always a baby when I first met him 200 years ago, when his kingdom was still new. He's been pissed at me ever since I accidentally knocked over a fire torch and almost made the candy kingdom catch on fire. it WAS an accident but Bonnie didn't care to listen.

I leaned on the gate where there was plenty of shade, waiting for fionna. I got a little tired of waiting so I flew out of the candy kingdom gate with my umbrella to look at the view. the beautiful green view changed into dark black portal, I watched my mom come out of it..

"Oh marshy! I missed you!" she said knowing I hate being called "marshy"

"Don't call me that!"

"Oh marshy, you were always so sensitive" she laughed

"What do you want" i asked calmly

"Why, to pick you up of course! we are going back to the nighto'sphere!" she rejoiced

"What? no! I'm not going back to that place! ever!!"

"Yes you will, and you wanna know why?" she asked teasing me. I said nothing

"Because I've been watching you Marshall, you fell in love" she smirked making me feel red about what she just said

"What do you-"

"Don't lie to me Marshall! You were in love with that human girl for 5 years..whats her name again..?fionna! if you don't wanna see her get hurt, I say you come with me" her smirk was pissing me off, I won't allow her to hurt fionna

"Fine! I'll go with you" I finally said

"Great! lets-"

"I'll go on my own, just.. wait for me..okay.." I knew didn't have a choice, it was either me or fionna..

"alright, but don't take too long alright?" she reminded

"whatever" she disappeared

i saw fionna and cake walking out of the Candy kingdom, i wasn't ready to leave fi.. i flew up to them

"Marshall? you okay? you look...depressed" i heard cake said, i tried to play it off. i asked cake if i could take fionna somewhere, she didn't seem to like it but she said it was fine, fionna took my hand and we flew off. feeling on her soft hand made me feel really happy inside. i didn't want anything to happen to her, ever

"So Marshall, where we going?" she asked. i told her i was going to give her something. we finally arrived. i took the ribbon off my guitar, the one that fi gave me long before she forgot about me because of those stupid ghost i call "Friends" messed her up. i gave her the ribbon and she freaked out about it, i was going to tell her how i got it but there was no use,

moments later, i talked to her. she started crying and shouting, i knew she looked sad. but it was for her protection. i gave her a kiss before i left to remember me... i later told her i loved her and ran off to the nighto'sphere. it was the last time i was going to see her.it hurt to much to think about it.

"Marshall!" mother called

"what do you want you low life woman!?"

"that's no way to talk to your mother!" she smirked

"you're the one that wanted me here and you got it! i believe i can do what ever i want!"

"no you can't, you are ordered to marry this weekend, manners are important!"

"WHAT?! MARRY?! that wasn't the deal! you can't make me!" i shouted

"i don't care what you want! as vampire king, you are under contract!"

"I didn't sign anything!"

"but i did! when you were born, i sign a contract with the lich"

"E-excuse me?!" i said shocked

"the lich made a second of himself by hand, it turned out to become a female,a female cannot destroy without a vampire king, so what the lich said. the female was created to destroy the land of aaa 10x more then the lich could-"

"whoa whoa!! you're not making since!!! a second lich!? to destroy the land of aaa?! mother, you promised that fionna wont get hurt!" i argued , she lifted her hand and showed that she had crossed her fingers..

"YOU WERE LYING??!!" i transformed into a bat in anger. shes always been pissing me off, but this.. this is a whole nother level! she laughed , she transformed into a demon beast, she punched me in within seconds. i was powerless, i was no match for her..i quickly transformed back and thought about fionna..how much i missed her touch, her hair, her smile, her braveness..

"im happy to see you finally agree with me, now go to your room, the wedding is in a month"mother said

Fionna

i ran towards the tree house knowing cake would be there

"CAKE!!" i cried

"whoa baby cake! whats wrong??" cake worried stretching by my side

"Marshall..Marshall.." i couldn't stop crying

"what? did he do something to you?!"

"no cake! hes gone! he left to the nigho'sphere!" i cried harder

"why?? he said it be the last place-"

"i know! ..but he wouldn't go there for no reason.. somethings wrong..we have to help him!" i shouted

"but fi, how would we find a portal?" i sat and thought, she was right, where would we find a portal. i got it!

"Gumball! hes a scientist! he would know where to go!" i yelled excited

"i don't know fi.."

"we have to! ..please" i cried again

"fi...do you like this boy..?" my face burned red, why would she ask me this at this time? i couldn't have a crush with the vampire king!...could i?

"Nn..we don't have time for this cake! please lets just go" i shouted running out the door

"alright baby I'm coming" i heard her say stretching to my side carrying me to travel faster.
