Chapter 2: The dark forest

chapter 2:

"yea..?" i didn't know what was going through gumballs mind at the moment

"you realize that you are the only human in the land of aaa?" he asked nervously

"actually i have..."

"really..?"

"yes... our parents told me about that... that they found me in the woods crying by myself, even them they were surprised..."

"fionna ..I'm sorry.."

"its fine! nothing can bring me down! ill be the best hero in all of aaa! you'll see!" i shook the sadness out of me

"that's the spirit.." gumball smiled

"yes, with that said we have to go, I'm glad to find this place safe so we might come back and visit" said cake

"please do, ill be happy from your visit"

cake and i left the candy kingdom, it was so much fun, im so happy to go around without having cake be super protective all the time... it was the best time ever.

"hey cake..."

"yes sweet pea?"

"can we really go on missions like the prince told us we could?"

"his words were pretty convincing so i guess why not? i'm actually looking forward to explore the land of aaa"

"so am i!" i yelled as i layed on cakes big furry back on the way home.

"so what you think of that gumball prince?" i asked

"hes seems pretty nice and gentlemen like, why?... do you like him?" cake said lifting a eyebrow

"what?! N-no! that's crazy!" i yelled as i felt my cheek burning up

"ha ha, whatever fi! lets just get some sleep, we'll go to the candy kingdom in the afternoon to do a mission"

"alright!"

~1 year later~

~fionna at 9 years old ~

I was walking down the forest, the part of the forest that cake forbid me to go to, i thought she would know better by now on how tough i am! we've been going on awesome adventures fighting glob monsters and big tree monsters! so i don't understand on whats so bad in this big dark forest.its passed my bed time and I'm still looking around here for the pass 3 hours, there's nothing in this stupid forest and i think I'm lost..!

I've lost my hat and my hair is bugging the dingles out of me! I'm getting really really frustrated...

"ow!!" i yelled

my hair got caught on trigs. i tried pulling but it was no use... it hurt to much... i started to cry, by myself in the dark forest..."GROWLL!!!!" i heard something loud and scary

"who's there?..."

"GROWL!!" i heard it again

in a matter of seconds, a huge red apple came closer to me! AN APPLE?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!
WHY ON EARTH WOULD AN APPLE BE THIS BIG?! AND ANGRY?!

"please don't! get away from me!!" i cried like crazy, i couldn't feel brave right now, i was alone, without cake to be by my side... i was nothing but a cry baby.. the monster was coming towards me . i was going to loose it..i shut my eyes and hope it would be over..

"GROWL!!...." the monster cried but i still didn't look

it became quiet...

"hey there..." i heard a male voice say

"huh" i finally opened my eyes, a boy was on his knee, he was tall, had black ebony hair, a red shirt, and blue jeans, with red shoes. he also had grey skin and 2 bite marks on his neck...

"whoa.. who are-"

"I'm Marshall lee the vampire king and you okay?" he asked while untangling my blond hair out of the twigs but still looking down on me..

"yes.."

"there, you're free" he said taking the last string of hair off the twigs

"t-thank you.." i stuttered hearing roaring sound in the sky..

"hey, its no-"

"Ahh!!" i screamed hearing loud thunder and jumped on the boy automatically

"heh, its okay, its okay... lets go to my place before it rains" he said hugging me

"ok.." Marshall picked me up and... STARTING FLYING??!

"whoa?! your flying!??" i asked as we lifted up to the air and flew

"yea, can't you? you look like a vampire to me...only shorter haha!" he laughed

"I-I'm human!" (not a vampire...although it should be cool to fly)

"N-no way! forreals? i haven't seen a human in years!)" he sounded surprise

~at Marshall's place~

"t-thanks for the cocoa.."

"no problem blonde" he said with a smirk on his face

"I'm not blonde! my name is fionna!" i yelled

"pretty face for a pretty girl" he winked

"i-I'm not pretty! I'm a hero and hero's aren't suppose to be pretty!" i felt my face feel red

"why not? i think so, even when they're girls that cry over big red apples, i had to suck the red out that thing to save you"

"what? you killed that thing?! that's amazing!"

"its no biggy" he winked again

"..." i started crying from hearing the thunder from outside the cave, Marshall hugged me to comfort me..

"its ok..i got you.."

"you re really nice.." i said

"heh, I'm a villain, I'm not nice"

"there's no way you can be a villain you saved my life!"

"well, i guess you just got lucky" he smerked

i didn't say nothing after that, i felt a kiss on my head and fell deeply asleep..
