Chapter 9: The Battle

We quickly rushed towards the candy kingdom. The clouds turned green in seconds! the lich was on the move! and worse, he had Marshall's blood for power! how am i going to defeat this demon? he's deathless! and where is the second lich anyways? My head was spinning!!

"Baby cakes! whats the plan!?" cake asked

"Prince Gumball said the lich was killing his candy people, so when we get there, find the living ones and put them with Gumball in his kingdom while i handle that lich!" i said

"Gotcha!" she said

We arrived at the candy kingdom to see that the Gumball guardians were broken, most of the candy people were smashed into millions of pieces but some were in the corner scared to death surrounded by toxic waste!

"I got this baby! you go find the lich!" cake told me

"Alright!" i said before running off

"Oh fi!" she stopped me "here!" she said throwing a red sword

"Cake..this is dads-"

"I wish you luck baby sister, with the demon blood inside the sword. theres a better chance on defeating him then any other sword you have!" she yelled before stretching off gathering many scared candy people and bring them towards the kingdom. i gripped the sword in my hands and ran off to find the lich!

There were so many dead candy people..it was impossible to tell how many died.. the toxic waste was everywhere, it was hard to keep myself from touching it. i heard a evil laugh just not too far away! i ran as fast as i could trying to avoid the toxic

"The butthead!" i yelled as i saw him rip open a strawberry person in half, the view was terrible!i saw the strawberry fall on the ground suffering.. He was twice as big as when i first saw him!

"Ahh, fionna the human! you think you can stop my plan to destroy this world!?" he laughed in his powerful voice

"Just watch me!" i yelled. He flew closer to me grabbing me with his big hands and squeezing the life out of me! i couldn't breath..my bandages were slipping off exposing my cuts... I stabbed the lich's bone arm, he showed very little pain..

"That demon sword made from demon blood can't stop me! your nothing but a weakling young human!!" he laughed squeezing me tighter. i was done for..? just like this..?

"Hey lich! eat this!" i heard a males voice yelled. it was marshall on the ground throwing rocks

"Hahahaha!!! you think you can stop me like that foolish vampire?!" the lich shouted

"Why not?" He smirked running closer to it.

"Marshall no! you're not well enough to fight!" i told him trying to speak clearly from the lich's grip

"Trust me!" he said as he took out a small blue bag out from his changed pants and threw blue dust at the lichs body. the lich screamed with all his might filling the earth with its echo. he quickly let go of me. i coughed trying to catch more air..

"You okay fi?" marshall asked running up to me

"Yes.." i said still coughing

The lich screamed shrinking back to his normal size as red mist traveled out his body and into marshalls. marshall looked lots better and healthier. he was flouting again and in no time, he transformed into a bat and began to fight to lich. they both were pushing each other with their hands trying to over power one another. cake rushed to my side

"Fi! you okay! I'm sorry i wasn't here in time!" she said

"Im fine," i whispered loosing my voice "cake... give me my sword" cake quickly stretched towards the sword without question and gave it to me. I quickly stood up and held up the sword

"Go backicus from whence you camicus!" I shouted in my whisper throwing the sword up in the air above the lich. in no time. a portal was created over the his head and he was sucked into it. Making the sword fall as it closed

"Whoa fionna! how did you know that that would work!?" Cake shouted holding onto her head. marshall transformed back and faced me with a shock face

"I don't know... it can in a dream when we were in the nighto'sphere" i chucked. cake mouth her mouth in a 'o' she knew what i meant . marshall was still shock. i was happy to see him better. i ran and hugged him. he slowly hugged me back.

"Fionna!" i heard Gumball call out. i quickly let go and marshall and faced PG

"Fionna.. that was truly amazing! you defeated the lich like it was nothing!" His smile glowed super happily.

"No problem..." i said frowning at my view of the died candy people. PG sighed remembering about them..the green clouds lifted. bringing the sunshine back to aaa. marshall quickly transformed into a small bat and went inside my green backpack

"We are going to have to make a funeral and cover all this toxic when i finish rebuilding the Gumball guardians.." He frowned. "we shall have a celebration after we are all done here.." He said turning around frowning and walking away when lord monochromicorn flew in to carry him towards his kitchen. There was a dead awkward silence..

"Comon fi, lets go back and repatch those wounds" cake said holding my hand. i nodded as she grew big to carry me back to the tree house.

We went inside and i threw my bag on the other couch as i sat on another one

"Ow!" i heard someone yell. i completely forgot that marshall was still in my bag. he came out and transformed back to his old self rubbing his head. cake picked up the first aid kit and did her work on me while marshall sat next to me

"So what was that dust you had back there?" i asked him

"Oh, i traveled to the wizards place and borrowed it. its suppose to take the blood out of your body" he said

"How ironic is that? why would they make something like that?" i asked

"Who knows but it was REALLY handy today wasn't it?" he chuckled

"Yeah!" i chuckled with him.

"But whatever happened to that other lich you were going to 'marry'" marshall face became disgusted

"I stole some death dust from a wizard that was goofing off in the nighto'sphere"

"Wow, how lucky did we get!" i said holding my cheeks in surprise. he laughed

"Alright. I'm done" cake said finishing my last bandage on my arm. "i'll leave you two here to talk" she told me. i nodded

"Fi, i need to tell you something..." marshall said holding my two hands in his. "i have to leave.."

"What? where? after all thats happen? after what you told me?!" i said almost crying. he lifted my chin with his index finger

"Im not leaving forever dumb dumb" he chuckled " in order to get that dust, i had to become a slave for a while"

"A slave!?" i shouted

"Nothing big, besides I'm a vampire, i can handle myself" he smiled. yea, said that got his blood stolen from him. well it wasn't his fault. it WAS the lich, the evil of all evil

"Oh..when you gotta leave..?"

"Tonight.." i cried alittle from his words, as soon as he saw the tears, he pressed his lips on mine, making me melt from the inside...

After hours of goofing off and eating. Night time passed by.marshall left me and cake to the wizards area. i already missed

"Its ok sweet pea, he'll be back" cake said comforting me. i nodded

"Who wants to play video games?" BMA sang. i could go for some video games
