((WARNING!! THIS STORY CONTAINS SOME DARKER SUBJECTS AND COULD TRIGGER SOME PEOPLE!! I WARNED YOU!!))

I laid awake, staring at the ceiling. I was getting adopted later. I was six years old, and had been stuck in that God awful place my whole life.
"Hey, kid, come here. " The mistress said, breaking me out of my thoughts. They hadn't given me a name, just left me nameless. I nodded and got up, going over to her. I was a frail, weak child. My eyes were always big as the moon, shining and gleaming in excitement.
At least until my new parents arrived.
They looked like nice people, rich from being famous scientists.
"This is your new child. He doesn't have a name, so please know he needs one." The mistress explained, putting a hand on my head. Both of the new people were blonde, the lady was wearing a lot of make-up but she looked more pleasant than the stone-faced male next to her.
"H-Hello..." I said, my voice cracking from underuse.
"Hello, sweetheart." The woman said sweetly, her voice like honey. "Honey, I think we should name him Seker... Since we looked for him for so long."
"Then his name is Seker Phoa." The man said in a gruff voice.
I beamed happily, I loved my new name.
"I'm glad you're adopting him. He's been here his whole life. Please take care of him. He has a high metabolism problem, so please be aware he will eat more than normal children his age." The mistress said softly.
"We are aware of his condition. We will be leaving in a couple of minutes. Seker, go get your things." The man said, his voice was deep and scary.
I had no idea what was coming for me.
