A Pie

With a mighty slam, Mary set a pie tray onto the stove.

Sherlock winced. "Bunny, what are you doing?"

"Midterms for school are coming up, I am very stressed, so I have decided to make a pie."

"... A pie?"

"Yes Sherlock, a pie."

Sherlock sighed and set down his newspaper. "Would you like help with that?"

"That would be lovely, thank you."

Soon, 221B smelled of delicious apple pie.

"What are we going to do with the pie?" Sherlock asked his wife.

"Eat it, of course." Mary laughed. Suddenly, she felt a very cold splat on the back of her head. Turning around very slowly, she saw a sheepish looking Sherlock smiling evilly, holding a portion of their pie.

He laughed. "Sorry Bunny, I didn't think you could get any sweeter, but-"

He was cut off by a large piece of pie being thrown in his face.

"What was that?" Mary smirked.

Sherlock threw pie at her hair. She threw pie at his arm. Soon, the entire flat was covered with pie.

"Come on Sherlock, let's bake whatever we have left." Mary could barley speak between her laughter.

They both looked at the pan to see it was completely empty.

There was silence.

"Well, we better clean this up before Mrs. Hudson sees." Mary decided, looking crestfallen. She took a step back, and slipped on some pie on the floor.

"Woah!"

Quickly, the detective grabbed her hand, and dipped her as if they were ballroom dancing.

"My Bunny, you seem to have something on your face."

Mary laughed. "Pie, hun. It's pie-"

She was cut off by a long, passionate kiss from her husband.

"No darling, it was me." He winked.

Mary smiled and kissed him back.

The door opened, and I walked in holding Lydia, who was giggling and tugging at my hair. "We had such a fun girls day!" I smiled as I put my bags on the floor. "Lydia kept-"

I took one look at the scene in front of me, and walked out with Lydia, unnoticed, letting the lovebirds do their thing.
