Zayn was currently waiting for Serena to show up. Granted, she didn't have to but he was hoping she would come. It was five o'clock-she was three hours late. He felt so stupid and found himself wishing he had asked for her number or anything to locate her by. He didn't know much about her. Just her job and ethnicity.
Another hour had gone by and he was pissed. He looked at the roses in his hands, jawline clenched tightly. It had begun to rain.
Two hours later he was still there-his hope closed to diminished. He was at the park alone. Just him and some homeless girl who laid on the park bench beside the one he was sitting on.
Serena watched him from behind a tree, chewing on her lips-trying to concentrate. She was conflicted. Her boyfriend of five years or a boy she had met three weeks ago.
"Just go." A little voice in her head urged. "Do it." It encouraged.
"I'm so sorry, Zayn. I honestly wasn't going to come because it's-its wrong. I have a boyfriend but I have..feelings for you and I can't get rid of them." She said, tears streaming down her face. Zayn was now very wet-the rain accenting every beautiful feature on his body. His jawline was sharp, the shirt clung onto his body and his eyelashes were longer and more beautiful than ever before.
His hands were cold as they cupped Serena's warm face, their lips centimeters apart.
"If you have feelings for me than you never had feelings for him. Let him go, Serena."
"I will. Tonight. I promise."
"It's eight..are you hungry?"
"Actually, yes. I am."
"Good." He smiled, fingers lacing themselves into the empty slot between Serena's hands. He squeezed her hand lightly, walking towards his black BMW.
