"Congratulations." Serena smiled a fake smile, knuckled white from clenching them. She wore a simple red dress along with all the bridesmaids, her hair in a pretty bun.
"Thanks, S." Maggie flashed her bright white smile, turning her head slightly towards Serena.
"You didn't let me finish. Congratulations on your entrance to hell. You're just as bad a cheater as he is, if not worse. I'm your cousin. We're blood. But I guess that doesn't matter when you're a sl-"
"Serena." Zayn scolded. Serena nodded her head, biting her tongue which wanted to scream at her cousin. Zayn took her hands in his and walked in the middle of the dance floor, snaking around the sea of bodies.
"You owe me at least one dance. I missed Danny's game for this." Zayn said, the vodka still in his system. They gently danced along to the slow music, her head laying gently over his chest. Her smile faded at the mention of the name and paranoia immediately resurfaced her heart. He wouldn't cheat, would he? She thought.
"D-Dani?" She asked, misinterpreting the gender of the name.
"Fuck." He swore repeatedly, hands gripping onto her sides as if his life depended on it.
"Who's Dani?" She demands, getting up from his chest, looking into his hazel eyes. They were filled with distress and cloudy with sadness which only added to the fury in Serena's eyes.
"Promise you won't get mad." He pleaded which made her scoff.
"I'm asking once more... Who is Dani?" She seethed, putting space between each of her words.
"My son."
