Tequan pov

We managed to make it to the hospital, Alexis was rushed to the emergency room while they x-rayed my wrist. I had no idea what was going on with Alexis simply because i was all the way on the 9th floor while she was on the first. It ate me inside knowing this could have been prevented easily! Like damn man i could have just woke her up. Or who ever that guy was did have to push me knowing I'm carrying a pregnant woman. Was that push even fucking necessary!!!

My doctor came in and told me i shattered 3 bones in my hand. More great news, while she tried to explain to me that i needed to have surgery right now. All i could think about is if Alexis and my baby is OK.

" look sir this is a very short procedure if you could corporate u can go see your wife soon. " she explained.

I sighed " ok"

She nodded and a group of nurses came in. one nurse in particular came over to me placing this mask over my nose. I began to breathe in some gas. After about 5 deep breaths i was out.

Alexis pov

God damn why did he drop me, my stomach began to hurt so bad. When i was rushed to the hospital every time we made a turn or ran over a bump. The pain intensified, i looked at everyone surrounding me. There was no sign of tequan.

 I took my oxygen mask of and asked " daddy wheres tequan?"

My dad shrugged " your boyfriend took the next flight back to California"

I was now completely shocked " WHAT!!"

" he left about 30 minutes ago! " my dad explained

I was now livid! How the hell is he supposed to leave me, wasn't he the one that said his feelings wont change for me. Like damn where his feelings at and why isn't he her. Helping me, kissing me fucking telling me its going to be ok when i know its not! We came to a section where my dad couldn't come, i watched as he began to get smaller and smaller. I cried as i watched him disappear along with hope that tequan would come back.

Doctors and nurses soon began to surround me, everyone was running around. I began to feel dizzy all theses emotions filled my body.

" i cant do this" i told myself " not without him "

I closed my eyes as everything began to turn black but before i left one persons face kept floating around me head ' tequans' .

"Doctor were loosing her !!" someone screamed

I head alot of shuffling and attempts to get too me. I didn't even try, i let what ever happen happened. I could feel my heart rate slowing , electrical shocks in attempt to bring me back. None of it worked since i already lost hope.

Before i was actually gone i saw a light. A bright one coming in my direction. I was then standing on a cloud approaching a huge golden gate with the words heaven written on it. The gate began to open then appeared god himself.

" hello Alexis! Are you ready to enter the gates of heaven leaving your earthly life behind you" he asked.

I was happy until he said leave my earth life. Heaven was a dream but i cant leave quan or my baby. I looked down at my stomach and it was flat.

" what?!" I asked in disbelief "wheres my baby?"

God frowned then opened the clouds to revel my lifeless body and doctors covering up my body. It began to cry then rain started to fall on earth. I closed my eyes then out of no where i heard screaming!

" Alexis!!! Pleasee pleaseee wake up" he yelled.

This was a horrific sight. I watched as tequan shook my body hoping i would get up. He look like a child that lost his mother in a shoot out.

I turned back to god " i love you but not yet. I have something special on earth dying for me to wake up "

He smiled " ill see you soon Alexis"

I watched as he breathe the breath of life back into my body.

I began to cough then slowly opened my eyes.

" thank god!! I thought i lost you" he cried unto my shoulder.

I was a bit surprised that he was here and i almost died! " you left me quan" i shoved him off me " i thought u said ur feelings wont change for me! When i heard you took the next flight to cali i had nothing to live for anymore! Why did you leave! "

He looked confused " leave? I never left lexis i got surgery on my hand, i broke three bones in it. I went no where i was just on the 9th floor "

I felt kinda dumb for accusing him of something he did do. It kinda added up since his arm way bandaged n shit.

" I'm sorry for assuming, its just that my dad told me u left. It crushed me to hear that. " i admitted

He looked pissed then got up and walked out. I hope hes not going to go pick a fight now. A wave of pain hit my stomach , i yelled out in pain. Seconds later doctors came rushing in.

Tequan pov

I walked outside i needed some air. Why does her dad not like me, i barely said a sentence to the man. Its like he doesn't think i deserve to be with his daughter. I sighed

" you alright" someone came rubbing my back

I looked up at this really pretty woman, she looked just like my lexis. " you want the truth or lie?" I said giving her options

She chuckled " i see why my daughter likes you. I'm Jamie ( jay-me) alexis's mother. You must be the fabulous tequan she been blabbing about. "

I smiled " yea, nice to meet you. "  shes nice compared to her husband " why doesn't Alexis dad like me"

Her smile fell " Jaden doesn't like people for strange mysterious reasons. It may be that hes just protecting Alexis or he knows ur kind. "

" my kind?"

She nodded " yes, even i know your a drug dealer. I even know your mother.  "

My eyes widened " you know my mommy?"

" yea we were best friends since elementary school.i named Alexis after her. We promised each other that when we had kids we would name them together. I was there every second when u were born. I remember ur little hands and little smile. Your mother was a spectacular woman, i couldn't have asked for a better best friend. " she said wiping her developing tears.

I was kinda tearing up too, i never met one of my moms close friends before. Well at least i didn't remember.
