3 days later....

Alexis Pov

Today kaydra and I are going Christmas shopping. I'm kinda excited to spent my first Christmas since I was 15 with my parents. Not to mention the love of my life is with me as well.

" come on Alexis!! We have to go " kaydra yelled.

Tequan laughed " baby don't take too long. I know how it is when u go shopping. "

I laughed too " I'm not making any promises "

He smiled " here"

He handed me his black card.

" what's this for?" I asked a bit puzzled

" to pay for the stuff your gonna but "

I laughed then handed the card back to him " I don't need your money" I kissed his cheek then walk out our room.

30 minutes later.....

Kaydra and I arrived at dolphin mall in south Florida. It was a pretty nice mall, but I liked the one at home a lot better.

" what u gonna get tequan " kaydra asked as we walked pass a plethora of stores.

I took a minute to think about it, I don't even know what he wants. " I don't know, he has everything he wants "

She shook her head in a agreement " that's true, let's shop for the boys last"

We spent at least 5 hours at the mall, since the whole gang was here we decide to shop for everyone. We had too many bags so the mall will rap then and deliver them the night before Christmas.

" I still don't know what to get rayan!" Kaydra stressed.

I blew a raspberry " girl your not the only one. How do you buy a gift for a guy that has everything!?"

" maybe we can give em one of those freaky night things. Where we dress up for them" kaydra suggested.

" yea that's a great idea! As soon as I drop this baby " I said sarcastically.

We both laughed.

" I forgot about the pregnancy thing."

I looked at her weird " how do you forget, my stomach is huge as fck! "

She laughed " lol when's ur due date ?"

" March 16th " I was really excited to meet my little munchkin.

" aww. I'm gonna spoil the hell out ur son" kaydra joked.

I smiled " everyone is planning too lol"

We both continued to conversate and laugh. About an hour later we left the mall, it was 8 pushing towards 9. I was dead tired, all the walking and shopping made me sleepy. Once we pulled up to the house I saw a whole bunch of cars outside.

" what the hell" I said as I exited the car.

I walked to the front door and quietly unlocked it. Once the door swung open there was a whole bunch of niggas in my living room. Who the hell are all these people. There was at least 30 guys in here. I heard a voice that sounds like my dads.

" ok guys we have a mission, we have to take out James before he gets to us. He wanted my daughter, kaydra, rayan and tequan dead. If he succeeds he will be the leader of the largest drug empire on the planet....." My father explained

" WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?" i yelled. 

All the attention darted in my direction as if someone was just caught for commiting a crime. 

my father looked at me with pleading eyes " honey what are you doing home so soon?"

i folded my arms over my growing stomach " my fcking feet are killing me, i wanted to come home and relax but instead i come home to a million cars in my damn driveway" at this point i was really pissed. 

" sorry honey, i had to have a meeting real quick" he kinda explained

confusion flushed my face " A meeting? daddy your retired what bussiness do you have having a meeting?" i questioned

he sighed deeply " honey its complicated" 

" mhmm, really now. " by now i was sitting on a near by chair scaning the room " so dad if you fail this james guy is going to be the leader of the largest 'DRUG' empire on the planet? " i laughed. " im not two anymore, you cant trick me."

" ok honey you caught me" he addmitted

i shook my head " you know this is funny, look at you. your a drug dealer aswell and you dare judge my boyfriend about his shit. smh." 

" Now Alexis, this is not as bad as it seems. its for your own good now to know whats going on. so kaydra can you please take my daughter out of here" he asked in a scared voice.

" what ever dad, tell quan him and i have are having a serious talk later" i said walking out with kaydra at my heel. Uggh i hate secrets.
