Tequan pov

It was pushing past 4 and god was i tired, cleaning up is such a task. I managed to finish reguardless. Once i scaned the place for the last time i turned out the lights beging to make my way upstairs. As i was going upstairs i heard talking comming from alexis parents room. I didnt want too ease drop so i continued walking. It struck my by surprise when my name was mentioned

" what do you mean, we both know tequan is probably just like his father" i heard her dad say.

" omg i thought you were ok with that?!" Her mom argued back.

I heard him sigh " i was until i got a call from his grandfather! "

Alexis mom gasped " james called you?"

By this time i was confused beyond beleif, my grand father called alexis dad?

" he wants tequan and his brother " he said sadly.

There was a moment of silent the alexis mom said " like want want them?"

I could heard her dad begining to breathe hard " hes going too wipe them along with our daughter off the face of the earth! How about that for a fucking christmas present!" He practically yelled.

I heard alexis mom beging to panic " god damn! I thought we took care of his ages ago! "

" i know, this situation is what turned micheal into a permanent drug dealer! I dont want tequan n his brother too live this life. Its dangerous " he emphazised the dangerous part.

" your right plus they have a baby on the way and dont forget about kaydra! " she agreed.

At that moment i was panicing, what the hell. Why would my grandfather want me killed? Im his grand son this makes absolutely no sense! I heard shuffling and bolted to my room. I closed the door quickly then slide down the door closing my eyes tight!

" quan?" I heard lexis say faintly

I sighed opening my eyes " yea baby its me"

She sat up turning on the lights, she the looked at me studying my body lanuage " wanna talk about it?! "

She always knows when somethings wrong with me, i think its cute. I forced a smile " nah its nothing, im just drained since u left me to do all the work"

She giggled " man up!"

I walked over too her, sitting next too her. " why you up, you know u need ur rest" i said worrying over her again. Lately its been such a habit to worry over her ensuring she protected and cared for.

" would u relax, im fine tequan! " she said with a laugh. Damn u know its serious when she calls me tequan.

I laughed too, i fixed so my back was leaning against the head board of the bed. Lexis was sitting between my legs with her back resting against my chest. I had my hand around her rubbing her growing stomach, she says it calms her down when i do that.

" i dont think ive ever seen you smile so much as you did earlier." She said with a giggle.

Its true, i missed my crew. We need to stay intouch more often " yea, its been a while since we have chilled like that. "

She smiled " im glad you had fun today "

" you too bae " i kissed her forehead.

" mmmhmm, why do i have a feeling theres somethin your not telling me" she said turning facing me.

I really didnt want too tell her anything, i dont want her too stress over something i will be taking care of. Plus its bad for the baby

I smiled " baby its nothing, go back to sleep”

She looked at me then shook her  head “ alright quan, if I find out your lying to me ur dead” she threatened
