We sat down in silence as tension rose in the air. I have absolutely no idea how i'm going to tell Quan where Alexis is. He stared at me anxiously, waiting for me to inform him of my knowledge on Alexis. Have you ever had that feeling of 'i wish i had not known about something?'. Yes? Well currently i'm in that situation.

" Ray spit it out, will ya. The suspense is killing me." Quan demanded, i could tell that he was becoming impatient. As usual, i have no idea how Alexis puts up with him sometimes.

i sighed heavily " quan, i think i know where Alexis is"

" No Shit! Come on man, just tell me" he said with a serious yet fearful tone in his voice.

Was he actually scared to find out where she is, or does he already have an idea of where she is and he is too scared that i may confirm his theory? I think quan knows where she is, he just too scared to go get her. He's scared out of his mind that when he gets there the damage may already be done.

i looked him directly in the eye, as i began i speak slowly. " James has her."

His heart dropped, i could see the fear flush across his face. Tears began to form in the corners of his eyes, i feel really bad for bringing him such terrifying news.

Suddenly his fist collided with the glass coffee table, shattering it into a million pieces. I could see the rage building up inside him, this isn't going to end well.

"HOW THE HELL DID I LET THIS HAPPEN!" He screamed, causing both Aj and I to jump a little. Quan is one terrifying man when hes ready.

At this point tears where streaming down his face, i haven't seen him this way since mom died. I guess Alexis means something special to him, because the quan i know does not cry over females.

He turned to look at me " how could i let the woman i love slip through my finger? How could i let my pregnant girlfriend end up in harms way?" he cried some more.

" I was supposed to protect her from all sorts of danger, I've failed her and now her life may even be hanging on a string."

I stood next to him, patting quan on the back. " Bro you cant always be by her side, you've done you best in protecting Alexis to the best of your ability. Hell we all have but James just got the upper hand this time. Don't worry man, we will bring her and the baby home safely. I'm just not sure if we are going to make it out of that place alive. "

Tequan POV

Ray does have a point, what if we don't make it out alive? Then my son will be put in the same predicament that i was in. Growing up without a father. I will never let that happen to my child, i will fight to be in his life. I must end this family feud with James and come out on top. Even if it means taking my own grandfathers life, i rather it be him than me anyways. He lived his life, its about time i live mine. Don't you think?

" Quan i am so sorry man, just know whatever decision you make i'm down with it." Aj said as he embraced me in a manly hug. You guys are very aware that i'm not with that gay SHit. So don't get any ideas.

"Same here bro, We gotcha your back. Just say the word Chief" ray chimed in.

I cracked a small smile " Thanks guys, Lets call it a day. Tomorrow we can begin plotting how we are going to get Alexis home in one peace."
