6. Trust Within

Derek P.O.V.

Her eyes. With a shine of amber/red which holds a slightly broken heart within its black pupil; attracts everyone towards her pain, all the abuse, and being unknown to the passions of love. But I know that behind that pain and being misused, there's a wonderful person that can find a new meaning for the term love. And I will personally be the source with showing her how to experience true love, with all its possibilities of course. When hearing her whispering and chanting that she was a monster over and over again, It broke my heart into a million pieces. Even within two days, Luna and I became closer then we have every been. But with the full moon coming up in one day, anything is possible. Which is way we're on our way to the pack house to speak with the alpha of the Hale pack. Who is also my mother, Talia.

~At the Hale house~

Luna's P.O.V.

Walking up to the house that Derek has called home for 17 years, makes tears form in my eyes. Just knowing that nothing in this world could ever give me the knowledge of what it feels like having a place to call home, while not exactly being alone. But I stopped thinking about my lose as I felt eyes full of empathy staring at me. I was about to ask what he was staring at but looking forward to see a house in the middle of Beacon Hills Preserve. It looked like a wonderful place to grow up, even with being a werewolf in a pack that most of the members lose full control during the full moon; while their trying to kill the nearest beating heart to them. But other than that it seems like a cool family to be apart of. Though I'm scared to meet them and with everything falling apart in my life, including meeting Derek; because he's the closest person I've been to since everything that happened in the past. And if that was the case then I wouldn't have a meaning to stay in Beacon Hills but til I meet them I wouldn't know were my fate lays. So here goes nothing....

~Once inside~

I was meant by a lovely home that smelled of love, which welcomed anyone in. As I was walking, Derek moved in front of me and nicely said to me as if I was a shy lonely animal, "No one is here.... So umm.. do you want anything to eat or drank?", "Something to drank would be lovely...' with a whispered 'Thank you". As he was away in the kitchen, a women with dark black hair walked through the door. With me unaware of her thoughts as she stood there looking at me from head to toe. She calmly said "Hello. You must be Luna?" I shyly replied with a confused face. "Yes. Luna Lycan." With my expression, she said with a soft laugh "Derek wouldn't stop talking about you for the last four weeks....' I felt a slight blush rise on my face as she continued "And its finally a pleasure to meet you. I'm Talia, Derek's mother." And in that moment I was more scared than the time my father threw me down the basement stairs or being chained to a wall for a beating that never ended; until I couldn't take it anymore and ended up passing out. It was the day my enter life was resting in someone else's hands. A person that I never thought I could trust.
