~two months later~

I chuckled leaning back into the fluffy couch, beer in hand. One of my arms was slung around Michael's shoulders casually as he leaned into my side. Ashton sat on the floor his back up against the couch also adorning a beer in his hand. Calum sat to my left with Mark's, yes Mark, Donna's assistant, arm slung around his shoulder. Donna sat in the large recliner on the other side of the living room.

All of our eyes were trained on the television as the two teams kicked the ball back and forth from the field trying to get into the net at the other end. I honestly never understood why sports were such a big thing. I remember in high school I would get bullied because while the other kids would go practice football or some other sport like track I would go home and start playing my guitar. I guess it payed off since we made it big for a few years.

"Hey Mark, babe, will you go get me another drink?" Calum asked politely, batting his eyelashes and putting on his famous frowny face accompanied by his big puppy dog eyes that even I couldn't resist.

"Calum you've had too much. I don't wanna deal with you being wasted in the morning," I said, grabbing Mark's shirt and tugging him back down onto the couch. In the short month and a half that Mark started hanging out with us he had become like a brother. He fit in perfectly and everyone really enjoyed him. Well, not everyone. Ashton for some reason didn't like it when we all hang out. He says it's because 'we never have bro time anymore' but I think he's just angry because we don't give him as much attention anymore.

"Luke I've only had two beers, calm down," Calum argued.

"Fine. One more," I sighed and playfully pushed Mark up, pointing to mine and Michael's shared bottle as a secret way to say get-me-some-too-but-I-don't-wanna-ask-because-I-just-told-Calum-no. Mark nodded and sent me a smile before leaving to the kitchen.

"Lukey watch! Our team has the ball and their travelling and- and GOAL!" Michael cheered and shot up along with Calum and Donna. Ashton and I just kind of sat there not really into the game enough to cheer like our life depended on this one game. Yes, I was happy that we had won the game but obviously not as happy as Mark as he came screaming around the corner, two beers in his hand, cheering loudly.

After a few moments the cheering died down and Donna stood up to say her goodbyes as she had to open shop early tomorrow. She was nice enough to give Mark the day off tomorrow to stay and hang out since Sunday was always a slow day.

"Well what do we do now? Mark never has days off and I don't wanna waste the night," Calum piped up breaking our now awkward silence.

"Luke aren't the neighbors gone?" Michael asked me.

I nodded, "Yeah she's making me water her plants while she's gone. Why?"

Michael didn't answer my question instead he kept going, "Doesn't she have a giant pool?"

I nodded again.

"One moment," Michael said before shooting up off the couch and rushing to the back hallway for a brief moment before returning with some swim shorts on and tee shirt.

"Anyone wanna join?" He asked and we all quickly shot up rushing to our bedrooms to find a pair of swim shorts. Michael followed me to our now shared room. I quickly changed into my shorts staying shirtless.

"Good idea baby," I muttered, looking at him with a loving expression and connecting our hands.

I giggled as he began to swim our intertwined limbs back and forth as we made our way down the hallway. We were greeted by three eager boys, all shirtless and in swim shorts. I quickly found the key that our old neighbor left me and we made our way outside ad through her house to her pool. She had some floaties in the pool and some weird white plastic dog floating in the pool.
