Christmas Day was here and nothing could have gone more perfectly. Michael had the perfect reunion with his mum and dad and Mark's family showed up along with Calum and Ashton's. Mail was glad to see Michael back, as was everyone else. Donna was happy to be included. We decided not to do gifts but to simply enjoy each other together. But that only lasted a few hours before everyone had to leave so quickly. Now it was back down to Mark, Ash, Cal, Mike and I all sitting in the living room around the now dim fire.
"So. Let's do something," Mark suggested. "I read this thing online that says to become closer we should each share our deepest darkest secret. Who's in?"
It took a moment before everyone slowly nodded.
"I'll go first," Mark offered before starting. "When I first started working at Sure Cuts, I had no idea what I was doing. In fact I lived with Donna until I got my apartment a year ago. She took me in off the streets. I took about a semester at beauty school before my parents died and the funds were not there anymore. I was practically homeless and the college was kicking me out in a few weeks. Thank God that Donna happened to be a guest speaker the day I was standing on the entrance of the college with all my stuff littering the ground and my thumb up asking for a ride."
We all smiled sympathetically at Mark.
"Don't think differently of me, okay?" Mark asked with a small whine to his voice that told em that he was restricting tears from falling. We all shook our heads 'no' and Calum leaned up to press a chaste kiss on his boyfriend's lips.
"I'll go," Ashton offered. "When Mark first came here I felt like I was pushed out of our little bro group but now I'm starting to warm up to my little Asian friend dating my other little Asian friend."
"Hey! I'm not Asian!" Calum argued and Mark chuckled.
"My turn, I guess," I started. "I was going to propose to Michael before the crash." Everyone looked disappointed with my secret, mostly because they already knew that. "But, I was going to do it over the intercom on the plane."
Everyone laughed at my idea.
"That's so dumb, not romantic at all," Ashton laughed, clutching his stomach as it heaved up and down.
"Hey! I think it would have been perfect!" Michael argued, slapping Ashton's bicep.
"What about you Michael?" Mark questioned, starting the game back up again.
"Umm when I was on the island," everyone visibly tensed as Michael started and I pulled him impossibly closer to me. "I climbed to the top of this cliff with this big doll thing I made out of coconuts and leaves. Remember the movie Castaway? Yeah I did what he did. I threw the dummy down and the coconuts didn't break so I knew that I couldn't jump and-and die immediately."
After hearing that, I leaned down and began to cover his face with tiny little kisses. Nobody really knew what to say so we just decided it was Calum's turn to talk.
"I-I umm.. About a year before the crash I had this huge crush on.." Calum paused. "On Michael."
Mark tensed and pulled Calum closer. "But you're mine now, right baby?"
Calum hesitated a moment and I caught him locking eyes with Ashton Irwin before answering, "Yeah. Yeah I am."
A/N
So ye... foreshadowing. It's about to get good and I might have to switch up the pov so look forward to that...
Let's just say that my co-writer/editor had an evil mind and a great plot planned out for this story so beware... get the Kleenexes!
QOTD: What concerts have you been too? Which was your favorite?
AOTD: Welllll technically I've been to two concerts but one was 'Elmo Live' when I was 1 so I'm not counting that. I did go to SLFL tho so that was my favorite. Duh.
