Oh What a Day

I woke up in a confused daze. Sweat was dripping from every pore of my body. I didn't recognize the room I was in. It looked familiar but I couldn't place it. It wasn't until I saw my suitcases leaning against the wall that I remembered where I was; Mr. Ri- Alessandro's condo.

I ran my fingers through my now damp hair, remembering the events of the past 24 hours. With a jolt I remembered last night. Alessandro had come home late and when I heard him come through the front door I got up to check on him. He was covered in something, it was blood. Why was he covered in blood? He had said something about his club, and I had been too tired to notice the hidden meaning in his voice. What was he hiding?"

With a shake of my head I got up and made my way to the bathroom, before I entered I looked at the clock; 6:30. It was early. With a shrug of my shoulders I went on with my routine. After the shower I walked towards the walk-in closet and decided to browse through the clothes Alessandro had gotten for me.

It was all so expensive. Things I could never had hoped to earn. It was also too lavish for someone who would be sitting around a house all day. With that in mind I found my own clothes and pulled out a pair of sweatpants and an old t-shirt.

After I got dressed I walked out to the kitchen hoping to make some breakfast, instead I was treated to a shirtless God cooking bacon on the stove. For a moment, while his back was turned, I couldn't help but to stare. I had never been so attracted to back muscles before, though in my defense I had never come in contact with such sculpted features.

"Oh Tess, I didn't hear you walk in." He smiled at me, a smirk playing at the corners of his mouth. Shït! He caught me staring!

I cleared my throat. "Erm ya I just walked in." I avoided his eyes. "Are you making breakfast?" Please don't notice the change in subject.

"Sì there are eggs and pancakes on the table, and the bacon is cooking." He turned back to the task at hand.

"You didn't need to do all this." I shook my head, making my way over to the fridge and pouring myself a glass of orange juice.

"Nonsense. I wanted to, besides I took the day off." He said, flashing me a smile before turning back around.

"Are you allowed to do that?"

"Of course, I'm my own boss." He chuckled. With a roll of my eyes I started to like food onto my plate. I hadn't realized just how hungry I was. Just as I made to sit down he placed the plate of bacon on the table. After grabbing a few pieces I finally placed my over-filled plate on the table and sat down.

I first made a move towards the bacon, it was the best bacon I had ever had. I fell in love right then right there- with the bacon of course.

"This is amazing!" I exclaimed between mouthfuls. "Your an amazing cook!"

"Thanks but all I did was follow the instructions on the package." He winked at me. With a blush rising to my cheeks I cast my eyes downwards and resumed eating.

"Now for today's itinerary I decided to show you some of my favorite parts of the city." He said, once we had finished eating.

"Hate to break this to you but I've already seen the Statue of Liberty." I said sarcastically. He rolled his eyes before continuing.

"No I mean don't of the art museums and streets I love. And not the touristy ones, not I mean the rich people ones. And after that we will go have lunch at one of my favorite cafés. So I recommend changing clothes." He smirked at me. It was my turn to roll my eyes.
