It's dark, but I can hear voices. Somehow I feel safe, and I'm warm. What happened after I blacked out in the forest? I heard Chat Noirs voice then nothing...

I hear footsteps and then my trapdoor opens. Wait-my trapdoor? Am I home? I hope that I'm home. I don't want to be with him any longer.

"Marinette?" My mothers voice says. I shift to let her know I'm awake-normally I'm a very still sleeper.

"Oh Marinette, I'm so glad you're okay." The next thing I know I'm being smothered by a hug. "We missed you so much."

I blink my eyes open and smile at my mom. "I missed you too." I say, my voice hoarse. I don't care. My smile fades.

"But... how did I get home? What happened?" I say, confused.

"Chat Noir brought you back to us. He said he didn't know what happened other than you were kidnapped by the Evillistrator who put you under some kind of spell."

"Oh." I nod.

"What did happen, Marinette?" Says my mom. I just shake my head and turn away.

"I-I don't want to talk about it..." I murmur. "Can I just get some rest?"

"Of course, dear." My mom says. "Just come down when you're feeling better. I have some fresh made cookies just for you!" With that she shuts my trapdoor, engulfing me in darkness. I sigh and roll over.

"Tikki?" I whisper over the top bar of my bed.

"Marinette! I'm so glad you're okay! I'm so sorry about what he did to you!" Tikki cries, whizzing up to hug my cheek.

"It's okay. I'm fine. Thank you so much for finding Chat Noir. I don't think I would be here without you..." I say, trying to stay quiet so my mom won't hear us talking.

Tikki nods. "And Marinette, there's something else you need to know. Chat kind of figured out your identity..."

I gasp, then bury my head in my pillow, groaning.

"He hates me now, doesn't he? He doesn't want to work with a wimp like me! I can't even save myself from some kidnapper....." I feel my eyes filling with tears.

"Actually, I think you're great." A voice says from the darkness. I freeze. That sounded like-

"Ch-chat Noir?" I whisper.

"The one and only. And you, my lady, are the most perfect girl that I could ask for. I just wish that I'd noticed it sooner." Chat says.

"I can't believe you know. I don't even know who you are!" I say, pressing my face further into my pillow.

"Oh, I think you'll be surprised." Chat says. "Plagg, claws in!"

A flash of green appears, then the room is left dark. I reach for my lamp and click it on, then gasp.

Adrien Agreste.

Is in my bedroom.

An incomprehensible squeak escapes my lips and then I dive under my covers. What is he doing here? Where is Chat? Wait- he is Chat! What the heck? I've been working with my crush this whole time???

"You were right. She is surprised." I hear Adrien say from down below.

"You'd be surprised too if your crush just appeared in your-in your..." I slap a hand over my mouth. I can't believe I just said that. I cannot believe I just said that. Adrien chuckled.

"It's okay, Marinette. I already knew." Said Adrien. I threw the blanket off my head. "You did? Who told? Wait, was it Alya? I bet it was Al-"

"No Mari, it was Tikki."

"TIKKI!!" I yell, throwing a pillow at the giggling kwami. She dodged it with ease.

"Dang Tikki, you were spot on." Adrien smirked, beginning to climb up my ladder. He stops. "Is it ok if I come up?"

I nod. He smiled and continued up until he was sitting on my bed, staring at me. I stared at my hands.

"Marinette? Please look at me." I oblige, gazing slowly upward until our eyes meet, my face immediately turning bright pink. It might just be my imagination, but his does as well.

"So your my Ladybug..." he murmurs. Then he leans forward, and so do I. I move closer until our noses touch, and I can feel his breath.

I don't know which one of us did it, but after a second our lips were pressed together. And it felt like heaven. I pressed in closer, and his hand traveled up to the base of my neck. My eyes closed and my arms traveled up into his hair, tangling themselves there.

Adrien pulls backward and stares into my eyes. I slowly open mine, a smile slowly spreading over my face until I'm grinning.

"Now that was a good first kiss." I mumble. He laughs, then pulls me in for another one. I oblige.
