Chapter 13

Arjun open his eyes and realized he slept here at night. His hands were still holding her. He saw her sleeping peacefully.

"You can take rest as much as you want but when you will wake up. I won't let you enter hospital ever." He kissed her knuckles and softly whisper in her ears.

"I love you." He got up from his table and rubbed his eyes.

He checked the wrist watch on his hand 8.00am. He should call in office and inform that he is not going to come. Door opened and doctor came inside with one nurse.

"Good morning. Mr. Arjun."

"Good morning Doc" he replied  Politely

"May I come in?" he asked from peeping outside and ask permission to check Radhika

"Yes please" he moved back.

Doctor walk towards monitor and start noting the reading. "So how was your night? You don't have to stay over here. Nurses are there to take care of her."

"No Doc, she gets scared to sleep alone." Doctor smiled and put a friendly hand on Arjun's shoulder.

"If she has such a caring husband like you. I think she will get well soon."

"She has to get well for me." He looked at her with tearful eyes.

"She will definitely" he said positively and start checking her.

"You can go home and freshen up and again come here. Till then we will take care of her." Doctor said and went from there.

Arjun looked at her and smiled. He kissed her forehead and said, "I will be back in sometime."

He went outside and looked her from the glass window and left the hospital. He has to freshen up and come back. He called the driver from hospital gate.

After few seconds, his car came and he got inside.

Car start moving and after 5 minutes Arjun said "Don't tell anyone that we had bring Radhika in hospital. I will inform everyone that she is out of town for some days. So, if anyone ask you don't tell them. Just say that I drop her on airport and I don't know where she is."

"Yes sir" he followed his order and again concentrate on his driving.

He open the door from keys and got inside. He threw the keys on the side table.

"How many times should I tell you not to throw the house keys over there? Put them back on their right place." Radhika shouted at her.

Arjun smiled and said, "I am sorry madam." He put them back and turn.

"Happy?" she was not there. He realized he was dreaming. She was in hospital not here.

He went towards the kitchen. He open the fridge and grab the cold water. "You always catch cold because of chilled water." He heard Radhika saying to him.

He put the bottle there and drank normal water.

"Joe, please bring sandwich for me." He opened their bedroom door and went inside.

He open the cupboard and looked for towel. He grab it in his hands and went for shower. After sometimes he came out and change his clothes. He threw the towel on the bed and open the cupboard for his wallet.

"You have again threw wet towel on the bed? When will you understand that it's very bad manners." He heard Radhika's voice. He smiled and picked it and put that in basket. He saw the pics of them on wall and walked over there. He touched her face.
