Chapter 27

Rao open his eyes. His stitches were getting dry. He took the pain killers from the table beside him. He tried to get up from his bed. Inspector entered the room and saw Rao struggling to get up. He help him to sit properly.

"Any process?" Rao asked him.

"Yes sir. She had contact the shooter and according to the CCTV footage of her building. He came to see her 2 days before the party."

"How is that shooter?" He asked him. 

"He is good Doctor said he will get discharge in few weeks I have kept my best officers to guard him" Inspector assured him. 

"As soon as he open his eyes take his statement." Rao clearly stated him.

"Yes sir" Inspector agreed to him. 

"Get my discharge paper ready." Rao ordered him.

"But sir..." Inspector tried to object him.

"You know I don't like to repeat myself." He nodded his head and left from the room. Rao got up and changed his clothes. He started collecting his medicines and kept in his bag. Inspector entered the room. He hand him the discharge card.

"Doctors are not happy about your decision." Inspector told him.

"Like I care" he kept the card in his hospital file and kept in bag. Inspector picked the bag and followed Rao.

"Sir, where are we going?" Inspector asked him.

"Mehra Empire."

"Sir, you need rest. We can do this after 2-3 days." Inspector tried to convince him but he refused to listen.

"Criminal is out there roaming and you want me to rest. Do you know how much dangerous she is? She has lost her humanity and you want me to take rest." Rao asked him.

"I am sorry sir." He looked down.

"I know you are worried about me but you need to understand how dangerous she is. What if something happen in this 2-3 days? We don't know what more planning and plotting she is doing. We have to catch her before she does something more dangerous." Rao tried to make him understand about the danger.

"Come lets go." He called him. They walk out from hospital.

"Call Mrs. Mehra to Mehra Empire."

"Sir, the shooter has still not given his statement then how can we arrest her." Rao turn and smiled at him.

"You know that I know that but Sneha...." He gave him the same crocodile smile. Inspector understood his plan and said I will drive. He went towards the driving seat.

Rao sat beside him. They drive to the Mehra Empire. Rao got down and went inside. He slammed the door and enter Sneha's cabin. Sneha got up from her chair. She looked at him unimpressed.

"Yes?" she asked.

"You are under arrest for attacking Mrs. Radhika Mehra." Inspector said him.

"What? What nonsense." She replied him.

"We have proof against you. You have right to remain silent." Inspector said her.

"Arjun" she called out "Arjun" she loudly shouted. Arjun heard Sneha's shout and came to her cabin. He saw Rao and Inspector in Sneha's cabin. He entered the room and looked at them.

"What's going on?" he asked in confusion.

"She is the one who hired the shooter, plant the bomb in car." Inspector said to Arjun.

"No, I did not." Sneha tried to explain.

"The shooter had given the statement against her. CCTV footage of her building showed that he took money from Sneha. Garage mechanic had given statement against Sneha." Inspector explain him.

"How could you?" Arjun feel betrayed.

"Arjun please save me. I promise I won't do that again." Sneha beg him.

"Arrest her." Rao ordered the lady constable.

"No please wait Arjun explain them please. Request them not to arrest me. You know why I did that. Please save me."

"No I don't know. How could you do that? She is my wife dammit. Why?" Arjun shout at her.

"Because I love you Arjun. I LOVE YOU." She shouted at him. He noticed her eyes were ice cold.

"You were my boyfriend. She snatch you from me. You married her just for your family. You never loved her."

"I never said I loved you. I have clearly said you that I will never marry you and you agreed to that."

"She has come between us. You always used to be with me but now you don't even looked at me. You promised me that you will leave her but you ran away with her to USA. I called you so many times but you always avoid me. I will kill her. I hate her. I JUST HATE HER."

"Shut up Sneha. You exactly know why I left you. I have warn you to stay away from her. I should have complaint about you 5 years ago when you tried to harm her. Because of you she had an accident and I have to leave from India. I thought you have changed. You were psycho before also and now also." Arjun angrily said her.

"Please take her away." Arjun request to Rao. He sign to the lady officer. They came forward and put handcuff. Arjun turn to leave. He saw Radhu standing with tearful eyes. He could see hurt and betray in her eyes. He was guilty.

"You cheated me?" She asked him. She heard everything but she want him to say no. she couldn't believe what she heard. Sneha smiled looking her in tears.

"You have lost Radhika. Once you taunt me that 'I am Radhika Mehra which you can't become' but you are wrong. Did he ever touched you? Ohh poor baby but you know what he used to sleep with me. He used to lie to you of business meeting because he wanted to be with me." Sneha smiled and said her.

"Stop it. Please stop it." She covered her ears.

"Take her." Rao ordered the officers. They took her away. Rao followed them. Arjun saw Radhika sobbing. He tried to touch her but she moved back.

"I trust you. I said you at the time of marrying that don't break my trust."

"I am sorry" Arjun looked down. He was guilty. He never expect things will come out like this.

"Don't" she stop him from explaining himself.

"For once you would have said I would have left you. I never forced you to marry me."

"I..." he tried to say something but couldn't find words. She recall Sneha's words.

"Did I know about this before?" she asked him. He nodded his head in yes.

"When did I got to know?" Radhu asked him.

"You saw me in hotel room with her. I tried to explain you but you took your car and went from there. I thought you would have went to home, so I didn't follow you. Then after 24hours, I got to know you had an accident. When I came to see you. I got to now you went into coma. I thought I will explain to you when you woke up but after one month when you woke up, you lost your memory. Doctors said you had partial amnesia and you have forget everything of 2 days. I was afraid to lose you." She was shattered hearing the truth from him.
