Chapter 20

Rao open the postmortem file send by doctor. He started reading it.

"Hello sir" Inspector enter Rao's cabin and wish him.

"Any new lead." He asked him.

"Very interesting." Inspector smiled and said. Rao looked at his excitement.

"Start from beginning." He said

"Driver name Ravi Shukla. Cause of accident was brakes fail. Someone tamped with the brakes because there was service card in which it stated that servicing was done almost one week ago."

"Whose car was that?" Rao asked him.

"You wouldn't believe." Rao closed his file and looked at Inspector. He tried to read his face. Something click in his mind and He unknowing spell. "Arjun Mehra"

"Correct guess. The car belong to his wife Radhika Mehra."

"This attack was to threat them or to kill them?" Rao asked his colleague

"Sir Accident was so bad that the driver died on the spot. It was not a threat. It was a murder plan."

He kept rewinding all the events. His phone vibrate in his pocket. He removed and saw Arjun Mehra calling. "Hello Mr. Mehra"

"Hello ACP Rao. I just call to inform you that my wife will get discharge tomorrow. You can come at my place and take her statement."

"Yes sure."

He hang up the phone.

"What happen sir?" Inspector asked Rao.

"Mrs. Mehra is getting discharge. Be ready." Rao replied him.

"Sure."

Rao entered the Mehra house. He looked around. It was decorated with vase flowers and beautiful paintings. He saw Arjun and Radhika's big frame hanging on the wall.

"Wohh!!!!! What a house sir. Dream house." Rao smiled at his excitement.

"This frame shows they are the happiest couple but this wall state a different story." Inspector looked at him with confusion.

"I don't why but I feel this walls are hiding many secrets within them." Rao touch the wall beside him.

He sat on the sofa.

He saw Arjun and Radhika getting down from stairs.

"Hello Mr. and Mrs. Mehra" Rao got up from his chair and greet her.

"Hello ACP" Arjun replied him.

"Please sit." Arjun request to Rao and his colleague

"Can you tell us exactly what happen last night?" Rao directly came to the point and started his interrogation.

"Okay I will start from beginning." Radhika replied him. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She open her eyes and looked towards Rao.

"I was getting bored so I thought to go at Arjun's office. I request him to come with me for a coffee date and he agreed. I don't know any coffee shop so Arjun suggest me which was best coffee shop and we went there."

"How did you went to Arjun's office?" Rao interrupt her and asked his question.

"By my car." She replied his quickly.

"Did you drive the car?" Rao asked him

"No I had my driver. He drop me there." She replied him. She had many doubts running in her mind. She thought of asking but Rao interrupt her with his next question.
