Chapter 24

Arjun came down for breakfast. He saw Radhika serving him in plate.

"Good morning." He said and sat on the table. She smiled towards him. He picked the glass and pour the juice into it. She placed it aside his plate.

"Radhu" Arjun called her from kitchen. She came out and raised her eyebrow. He signed her to seat beside him. She pull the chair and sat beside him. He picked the juice glass and kept in front of her. She smiled and picked the glass.

"This weekend we were thinking to keep the inauguration party. So if you want you can go to mall for shopping."

"I already have so many clothes."

"It's very special day." He tried to convince her

"Okay I will buy something nice." She nodded her head. He took the handkerchief from aside and wipe his mouth. He got up and left from there. He sat into his car and drive to his office.

Sneha saw him entering in the cabin and cut her call. She followed him to his cabin. She knock the door and open it.

"Yes please." he got up from her chair.

"In next 10 minutes you have a meeting." She gave him the reminder call.

"Okay presentation is ready?"

"Yes I have personally checked it, if you want..." he cut her in between

"No, its fine." Sneha smiled and went from there.

Sneha sat in her cabin. She open her drawer and looked at the photos kept in it. Her phone blinked. She picked her phone and open the lock. She saw a new text message. She thought for a second and open the message. Unknown Number

She saw one mobile number without name. She called the number and with two rings. Someone answered the call.

"Hello" she asked

"Hello madam. Meet me in the evening with my advance." She heard a thick voice over phone.

"Okay." She replied him. He hang up the call without saying anything.

Where should I bring so much of cash in such a short time? If I will withdraw the money, then during enquiry police will ask me about that.

She picked her purse and walk out. Arjun saw her leaving from office.

"She didn't inform me today." He ignore that and started typing in his laptop. Sneha reached home. She entered and switch on the lights.

"Madam" Her maid came out from kitchen.

"Are Di I have made dinner for you and courier boy gave the parcel I have kept it over table. Can I leave now?" she asked Sneha

"Yes" Sneha replied. She walk towards her table. She saw one parcel wrap in brown paper. She picked it and saw her name written on the parcel. She open the parcel and saw two bundle of money. She was shocked to see such a huge amount and Radhika's photo. She thought for a second.

"Whose money is this?" Her door bell rand. She kept the money on the table and open the door. She saw one tall man standing in front of her. He was wearing hood. His face was covered with mask.

"Yes?" she answered him.

"You called me today." She looked at him from top to bottom.

"My money and photo." He asked her.

"Yes come in." she walked inside towards the table. She picked the parcel and hand him.

"Your work will done." He assured her and went from there.

"Such a weird person. He didn't even came inside. Straight to this topic and went also. Impressive." She looked at the lift from where the person went and said.

Sneha smiled evilly.

"Tomorrow is your last day Mrs. Radhika Mehra." Now I will become Mrs. Sneha Arjun Mehra" she picked Arjun's photo and kissed it.

"I love you Arjun." She went inside her bedroom. "After Radhika's death you don't have to hide your love. I know you were forced to marry her but now everything will be fine." She hug his photo and slept.

Rao entered his cabin and sat on his chair. Inspector entered his cabin and salute him. "Arjun Mehra has come to meet you." He sign him in yes. Arjun entered in his cabin.

"Hello sir" He extend his hand. Rao shake his hand with Arjun "Please seat." Rao offered him to seat.

"So tell me about your surprise visit." Rao smiled and asked him.

"Today I have not came here for any complaints. I came here to invite you. This weekend we are inaugurating the hospital." He gave him an invitation card. Rao took it in his hand and read it carefully.

"Why are you inviting me?" Rao asked him.

"This party is going to be very grand. It's a very good chance for attacker to harm her. I trust you a lot. You are a very loyal police officer. I know you can save her." Arjun explain him

"Did you get any information about the attacker?"

"No, I just feel that something bad is going to happen. When we came back to India we thought that after this inauguration we will move back to USA. So I think this will be the last chance for the attacker because after this we are thinking to move back." Arjun replied him. He has an intuition that something is going to happen.

"You didn't inform us. How can you just leave?" Rao asked him

"I am sorry sir, but all of this had started when we came here. I think if we move back to USA, all of this will stop. I have my business to handle. I can't stay here lifetime. So I want you to find this culprit and we can leave from here."

"Okay we will come." Rao promised him.

"Thank you for accepting the invitation." Arjun left from there.

Inspector saw him coming from Rao's cabin. He went inside. "What happen sir? Why did he came here?" Rao gave him the invitation card. "Are we going?"

"Definitely" He raised his eyebrow up

"Why did he invite us?" Inspector asked him.

"He thinks the attacker has a good chance to harm her in party."

"He is right. This party will be very grand. Anyone can get a chance to harm her." Inspector agreed to him.

"I think he has a doubt on someone but he is not sure." Rao shared his doubts. He recollected the strange behavior when Arjun was telling him about moving back to USA

"Did he said you?"

"He don't have to say. The way he was trying to explain why he want us to join the party. I know he has doubt on someone. He thinks that the person will attack his wife. He was very sure that Radhika will be attacked in party and we will catch him. So that he can go back to USA."

"Even I think she can be attacked in this party because that's the only reason why they return to India. For this cancer hospital. And if this project is over they will go back to USA." Inspector tried to explain Rao.

"Your right. It's our last chance to catch the attacker." Rao picked the invitation card and looked at it.
