Young Love (Luke Hemmings)

Chapter 5

As I was finishing unpacking and dad and Luke finished bringing up my dresser and bed i laid down for a bit.

I enjoyed the silence but it was soon broke when I heard Luke come in.

"Hey"

"Hi" I responded, tired

"Hey, um Your dad said I can stay till dinner so I guess we can hang out."

He said, sounding more like a question

"Sure, why not"

I quickly replied.

"Um, do you wanna hang here or what?" I asked

"Well, er......um how about here I am a bit tired and I want to know a bit a bout you." he replied

"Alright"

"So how old are you?" he asked sternly

"13 I am gonna be 14 in a few months."

I replied leaving a shocked Luke.

"Really, I thought you were a bit older."

"I get that a lot actually, but it doesn't mean I am not mature for my age."

I said receiving a nod from him.

"I am 17" Luke replied.

"Oh"

"Yea"

"I um..... like your lip piercing." Luke commented leaving me blushed and dumbfounded.

"I like yours too."

"Thanks"

"So um you wanna watch a film?"

I asked a bit quiet.

"Sure"

"Well, my movies are right here in this box so go ahead and pick one i am gonna run in the shower real quick."

I said pulling the box to Luke and grabbing a towel.

"Alright"

I quickly stripped down in my bathroom and grabbed all my products and stepped into the shower enjoying the hot water touching my skin.

I soon whimpered as the water touched the cuts on my arm I had made a week ago.

Yes I selfharm don't judge.

These cuts were deep and I put scar sheets over them and covered it with bracelets.

If your asking why it's because I get bullied a lot and I have depression.

I soon finished showering and Walked into my room with my towel wrapped around me and got some clothes and walked back into the bathroom ignoring glances from Luke.

I quickly got dressed into a pair of batman pj pants and an 'all time low'

Shirt that was white and has big arm holes without sleeves.

After I was finished I blow dryer my hair and grabbed a pair of socks on my feet.

"It's very interesting to see you get ready" Luke said sarcastically.

"Yea"

"So, um what movie is th-"

"Omg, 'THE NOTEBOOK?"

I said surprised and excited.

"Haha, yea"

Luke replied falsely scratching the back of his neck nervously.

"I didn't know a boy like you would like these kinda movies."

I teased.

"It's actually pretty good"

He responded, with red cheeks.

"Yea I was reading the book on the plane."

"Really you read?" Luke asked dumbly

"Ehh........ a little"

"Now shush and watch the movie."

I said joking

"Kay, goodness"

Luke replied offended sarcastically

Me and Luke finished the movie ad we found ourselves huddled up cuddling together and his warmth was incredible .

I didn't want it to end.

But, it did.

"Steph, Luke come and eat!"

"Kay!" I yelled back.

I got up but found a sleeping luke.

"Awhhhhhh..........."i said taking my phone and taking a pic of Luke sleeping, with the flash waking him up.

"Hmmm" he said

"Sorry"

"Um, Luke my mom said its time too eat."

"Okay"

Me and Luke went down stairs and started eating spaghetti.

"Mmmmm.... thanks mom"

I said eating.

"Yea, this is very good"

"Thanks Steph"

"Thanks Luke"

"Your Welcome" me and Luke said in unison.

By the end of dinner Luke was about to leave.

"Wait erm........ c-can m-Maybe get your number?" Luke asked

"Sure"

We switched phones and added each other as a contact on our phones

"Thanks, bye Steph"

"Thanks, you too!"

And he left after giving me a hug.

I was about to go to sleep until my phone buzzed.
