Chapter 23

"Luke?"

Nothing.

I walked over to him and i noticed he wasn't breathing. i looked over and saw a piece of paper. i unfolded it and ten began to read it.

As i finished reading i looked over at him. my heart broke.

"Luke?" "Luke!!??"

I began to freak out. so i checked his pulse.

He still had a very small one, and i put my ear to his chest and heard very small heart beats.

I called the ambulance as soon as possible. and Ashton shortly after.

Since Ash lives close to Luke he got here before the ambulance did.

"Thanks for coming Ash."

"No problem"

Me and Ashton watched the paramedics bring Luke out on what ever that little bed thing is called.

I was to shocked to cry.

"Ashton, is he going to be okay?"

"I don't know Steph, the only thing we can do is keep positive thoughts."

"Okay"

Me and Ashton waited in the waiting room there.

By that time the other boys showed up. everyone was silent.

It wasn't awkward. The silence in the room was just filled with grieve and sorrow.

I was really worried, i had know idea Luke felt this way.

Within 10 minutes, i am guessing the nurse, came out and told us we could see him.

Everyone slowly got up and entered the room lazily.

Everyone surrounded the hospital bed looking at this boy. he looked terrible, his hair was all over, his lips were pale, and his face looked a bit blue but still had his natural skin color as well.

"He did this, because he loves you to much" Ashton whispered causing me to turn and look up at him.

"Why would h-" i was cut off.

"The one that breaks cant be the one to fix you, and the person he would die for was you, and you were the one that was killing him inside. so he did this"

I thought about what he said. The thing me and Ash were talking about the other night. thats what he meant.

"Ash"

"Steph, he needs you."

And i thought that was bad, it was just the beginning.
