Chapter 4: The Phone Call

You answered the phone. "H...Hello?" You said in a worried voice. "Umm hi, is this Y/N?" The person on the phone said. It sounded like a guy. You could hear people laughing in the background and noises that sounded like coffee machines. "Oh, yes! Who is this?" You answered. "This is Sub." The voice said. "Wait what." You said confused. "Sub as in Subzeroextabyte gaming?" You asked. "Uh, yea!" Sub said first confused by your question almost like he suspected you to already know. "So.." Sub started. "Oh! Yes, sorry!" You said. "So Elijah told me about you." Sub said. "He did?" You answered. "Yea! So I realized that I had watched you YouTube channel before!" Sub said. "You did!" You cheered. "Yes, and I loved it!" Sub said laughing happily. "Wow thanks! I owe it all to you and the rest of the gang!" You said. "Wow! How long have you watched us?" He asked. "Hmmm idk like three months." You said. "Cool!" Sub said. It was reasonable since they had only had their new channels for about a year. "Anyway, I was wonderi..." Sub started but was cut off when a lady yelled "Sub order nine." "I've gotta go." sub said. "Oh, alright." "I'll call you back later." Sub said. "Ok bye!" You said as Sub hung up the phone. "Wow!" You thought. "Sub was just on the phone with me!" Then you realized that you were friends with Elijah. You heard a knock at your door. You walked up to answer it. It was a girl wearing a galaxy shirt and black leggings with black and white shoes. The girl had blondish brown hair that was in French braids and earbuds were wrapped around her neck. "Hello, I'm Ana!" The girl said. "I'm here to see Lane?" She added. "Oh okay come in!" You said. "Lane." You said calling for her. "Yes Y/N." Lane answered. "Ana's here." You yell back to her. Lane walks into the room with a mirror in one hand and a stick of liquid eyeliner in the other. "Sorry I was just finishing up my eyes." She says. "Hey laney." Says Ana. "Hey Ana! Glad you could make it!" Lane says. "So do you know my roommate?" Lane asks pointing at you. "No, we just met a minute ago." Ana says smiling at you. "Oh nice! Well I'm glad you guys meet because Ana is also going to YouTube awards." Lane says cheerfully. "Wait." Says Ana. "Isn't this Y/N?!" Ana asks Lane. "Yep! that's her!" Lane says laughing at the question. "Omg I love your channel!" Says Ana. "Thank you so much!" You say smiling at her. Ana seems really nice you think. "Well we've gotta go." Lane says. " bye!" Ana said smiling at you. "Bye!" You say back. They leave the apartment closing the door behind them. You don't need to lock the door since it's one of those heavy metal doors that's painted white. You decide to get on the computer and face time Jenny but before you can Sub calls you back.
