Chapter 18: Something Special

"Do I really like you..." He says again. "I think that I will let you decide." He says and kisses you. You could not believe what was going on.
You reach behind you and grab your phone. You hold your phone behind you. You pull away from him. It's quiet for a moment. Denis just stares into your eyes. "I think we should check the directions." You say nervously breaking the silence and awkwardness. "Um okay." He says. You check the directions. "Almost there!" You say. "Yea..." He says. "Did you not like that?" He asks. "...of course I did Denis." You say nervously. You really did like the kiss but you were nervous and did not think that you were ready to tell him how you feel. You both arrive at the restaurant and get out of the car. Denis walks over towards you and reaches for your hand. You reach back for his. You are both walking at holding hands and he opens the door for you. "Y/N I really do love you." He says. You smile back. "Oh my god!" - You think. "He loves me... I love him. How is this real." Your waiter sits you down and you order drinks. "Be back with those soon!" The waiter says with a smile. "So, y/n." Denis says with a smirk. "Yes?" You say resting your hand under your face.

You both got back into the car and he drove you home. "That was fun." You think. "Thank You again Denis." You say. "Of course." He says with a smile. "I hope you had as much fun as I did." He says. "Oh I bet I did." You say laughing. He gives you a hug and you say goodbye as you open your apartment door. You open the door to see Corl and Tori. "Oh, am I interrupting anything?" You say. "No, no we're fine." Corl says. "Hey um so why are you guys here, just wondering." You say. "Oh we just got here's we are waiting for Lane to come back, she said she'll be here any minute." Corl says. "Oh alright." You say and walk to your room. You shut the door behind you and plop on your bed. "That's weird," You think. You get your headphones and computer and begin to edit a YouTube video. "Should I tell lane about Denis," You think. "Hm, maybe not." You try to close the thought from your mind but it keeps coming back. You can't stop thinking about the kiss. "Ugh." You sit up frustrated and close your laptop. "Let's face it." You think "I'll never be able to think straight if I just sit here." You walk in to the kitchen. You see Corl and Tori on the couch. "So are y'all a couple?" You say laughing. "No, were just friends," Tori says looking at Corl. "Ohh that's what they all say," You say laughing. Lane walks in and Corl and Tori walk over to the door. "We're going to the mall, wanna come?" Lane says. "I'm fine," You say. "Alright, bye Y/N," Lane says. The door shuts. "Hmm, maybe I should call Denis," You think.
Calling Denis...
Denis: hey!
Y/N: hey Denis, wanna come over?
Denis: sure, what are you guys doing?
Y/N: it's just me, Lane, Tori, and Corl just left for the Mall
Denis: oh ok! Sounds great!
Y/N: come at 6:00?
Denis: sounds like a plan!
Y/N: Bye Denis.
Denis: bye!

You watch some TV until you hear the doorbell

You open the door and Denis is standing in the doorway smile and all. "Hey," He says. He walks in and sits on the couch. "So would you call this our second date in one day?" He says laughing. "I guess so," You say. "What are we Y/N?" Denis says as he puts in hand on your shoulder. "I-I don't know," You say. Denis leans in and kisses you. You pull away blushing. "Did you not like that?" Denis asks. "No! I'm just very confused with...us," You say looking at the floor. "Yea, well I guess this is a good time." Denis says. "What?" Y/N asks. "Y/N will you be my girlfriend?" Denis says smiling. "Y-y-yes!" You say nervously but with a happy tone. Denis smiles. "I've been waiting to ask you but it needed to be the right time." He says. Corl, Lane and Tori walk inside from the balcony. "Oh hey guys!" Lane says. "Denis!" Corl says. "You guys wanna watch TV?" Lane asks. "Sure!" You and Denis reply. "Who are you texting Tori," Y/N asks. "Oh just Jack," Tori replies. "Jack? Like our waiter from the other day?" You ask. "Yes! I saw him in town today and we just started talking." Tori says. "He seemed really nice," Lane says. "Yea he is," Tori says. "Okay well lets watch TV..." Corl says awkwardly. Lane takes his hand and sits down. Corl, Lane, Tori, Y/N, and Denis all watch a movie and Corl and Denis leave. "Bye Denis!" You say. "Goodbye Y/N!" He says. "That was fun!" Lane says after the door shuts. "Yea it was!" Tori says. "I'm gonna go home also, I'll see you guys tomorrow." Tori says. "Okay bye T!" Lane says. "Bye!" Y/N says. Tori leaves. "I'm going to bed I don't know about you." Lane says. "Yea, you know what, me too!" Y/N says. You both go to bed. "Well, a lot happened today." You think. I wonder what tomorrow has in store...
