The demon Lady makes a light joke and dismisses the muggers insinuations about a trade on his soul. Meanwhile, somewhere else in the suburbs of Chicago, an apparently grieving man and woman consult a mystic. They eagerly await to hear some words from their departed one on the other side.
The Mystic says all the right things and goes silent. Her customers do not seem convinced and whisper sneaky, derisory comments to each other while the mystic is engrossed in a trance-like sleep.
