The next morning I woke up to screaming. I jumped up from the hospital couch to see Abby screaming and crying. I rushed to her side.
"Abbs are you ok?" She was shaking.
"H-he's coming." she wailed
"Abby who's coming?"
"Robert! In my dream he was coming towards me after he hurt you!" She was in hysteria.
"Abby, baby we're not going back there! We are going to live with Damon in his apartment. Remember?" She nodded. Her little 5 year old face was starting to smile. There was a knock at the door. The doctor came in. He introduced himself as Dr. Height. He checked her vitals and talk to me about her condition.
"She has a deep gash in her abdomen and she broke her ulna and humerus and her tibia." He explained.
"How long will she need to stay here?"
"Just until tomorrow morning. She should be perfectly fine to leave." I nodded and smiled. "Thank you doctor" He smiled and left.
I walked over to Abby and gently shook her awake.
"Abby you get to go home tomorrow!" I smiled. She started dancing. I laughed.
Damon walked in on our little dance and chuckled. We all had a good time for once in a long time
