Ashley's POV

"Peeta...can we go for a walk?" I asked in a sweet voice. Its been about seven months and I'm on the verge of dying. I'm so huge!

"You need to rest..." I looked away and sighed.

"Peeta...I'm big as a house and these two kick me whenever your near...even if its just hearing your voice...they go nuts. I'm pretty sure I deserve a walk." I said with a glare.

"Alright...we'll go for a walk, I'm sorry you feel like a house...with the way we do things though, I'd say that it wont be the last time..." He laughed.

"You did this on purpose..." I said, in which he kissed me sweetly and said,

"You participated just as much." Peeta always knows what to say.

I smiled and had him help me up, as he grabbed a coat and my boots....

Now we are walking around the victors village, since Peeta won't let me go past the village.....and oh yeah, that's right, Bree is pregnant! Oh, and Katniss and Gale are getting married...and of course, Peeta and I offered to pay for it. We were all generally happy...and Peeta and I were kinda glad Bree and I would be giving birth about the same time. Peeta's mother and father aren't to happy though...about Bree and Coy of course. I now had Peeta help me sit down in the growing grass...its May, and my due date is just around the corner.... on the 16th, tomorrow, is when I'm supposed to have my two little nudgers. Me Peeta also agreed on different names...we decided Annabeth Lynn Mellark and Velvet C. Mellark, the C is for Carter. Yep...me and Peeta are having a boy and a girl...Peeta is thrilled that he gets a son and a little girl to look after. I'm just glad that they were always healthy!

"We should go....my patents are coming over for dinner."

I nodded and Peeta helped me up, he knows I'm not helpless though. I just can't get up because...I am huge! I feel like a cow....

In the middle of dinner, I felt like I had literally peed on myself.

"Um Peeta...." I said, all eyes shot to me. "Oven bunnies..." I said, Peeta looked shocked and his parents looked confused.

"Really??" He asked, I nodded, and Peeta turned toward Carlisle and Grace, "Mom..dad..the babies are coming!" At that Carlisle helped me up and Peeta called everyone else.....

Now I find myself listening to nurses, screaming, pushing, and almost braking Peeta's hand....finally a cry rang out in the room.

"That's the girl!" I heard the doctor say.

"Alright come on Mrs.Mellark....one more big push!" With one last push I heard an other cry and finally I could rest. I wanted to hold them.....Peeta kissed my forehead and then..... my two beautiful babies were in my arms. Two sets of pretty deep brown eyes looked up at me, and light brown-almost dirty blonde hair kicked out on top of their heads.

"Beautiful....Hi...I'm mommy...and this is your silly daddy." I told them, as Peeta smiled down at them.

"Your moms got a grip." He laughed, I smiled at Peeta and handed Annabeth to him, then Velvet, which he smiled down at both with pride and love.

"So...would you like to sign the birth certificates and name them? " Dr.Fitz asked, and we nodded.

The babies were then taken to be checked so we could take them home.

I placed the names Annabeth Lynn Mellark , and Velvet C. (Carter) Mellark on the two birth certificates, and Peeta and I signed them as the mother and father......

When we finished with that the babies were released to us, and Katbiss, Prim, who by the way is much better, and the rest of our families, including Bree, and Gale, have gathered in the waiting room to see Annabeth and Velvet. As they coo and ga over the babies, I'm stuck in a wheelchair until we get home...I'm really tired.

"Congratulations son...you did good they are beautiful!!" His dad said making Peeta turn a little red....

Peeta's POV

Being home with Annabeth and Velvet is different. Ashley's resting now and I'm sitting with the babies.

"Oooo..." Abnabeth coo's, while her brother Velvet lightly snores. I pick Anna up and hold her securely in my arms...I can't believe she's mine! So beautiful...a small life, that I helped create...in my arms, cooing up at me and smiling. "Daaaa!" She laughed, I smiled even wider as she reach her tiny hand up to touch my face. She looked at me and smiled, and then her face turned serious and she just looked at me, like she was taking in every feature of my face...like she knew exactly who I was.

"I love you Annabeth..." I said, she smiled as she closed her eyes and now began to sleep. Yes, I loved my little girl...even though I've only known her for a few hours...only held her twice....I love her. I love her, and Velvet.

I lay Anna back down in her crib and walked over to the door, I looked back at my beautiful kids and then walked into mine and Ashley's room. I slipped under the covers with Ash and held her tightly.

"I love you...." I whispered as I finally fell into a peaceful sleep.....
