Surprises

A few weeks has past and I had to find out the hard way about Coy and Bree....

I walked through the old house where mom, Katniss ,Bree , and Prim live now and knocked on Bree's door. With no answer I opened the door generally worried, but closed it quickly when I realized that Coy was in there with her! .....

So, yep....I was officially shocked and so was Peeta when I had let that information out to him. Now we're alright, but Bree is embarrassed...and I'm still shocked, and Peeta isn't talking to Bree, because...she corrupted Coy.

Peeta won't even talk to Coy, because...he betrayed his trust.

"Peeta...you should forgive your brother," I paused. "Its no different then us the night before my birthday..." I said.

"No Ashley...its wrong, they are sixteen. Me and you are older...we're eighteen and nineteen!"  He yelled. 

"No..its not, I was sixteen Peeta!" I yelled back at him.

"We were getting married!" He yelled back, tears were streaming down my face. This was our first fight in forever..and it hurt.

"We weren't the night before, Katniss would have forgiven me, even of she was this upset!" I yelled as I grabbed my coat and boots. "I'm going to moms," I paused with a sniffel. "And I don't want you to come after me either because Katniss won't let you in!" I yelled, before grabbing my shoulder bag and heading to the door.

"Ash...wait..I-" I didn't bother hearing the rest of it as I headed out into light snow, slamming the door behind me.

Peeta's POV

I stared after Ashley with a frown over my face. I didn't mean to yell at her like that but it was my little brother....that her friend corrupted! I groaned loudly and plopped down on the couch. Uh! What do I do? After about twenty minutes of thinking on how I'm gonna apologize, my door bust open and there stood a very angry Katniss....

"You hurt my sister....and now I have rights to do this!" Katniss yelled pinning me to the wall and choking me.

"Katniss!" It was Ashley.....Katniss let up, Ashley's voice was horse and I gave her a concerned look that she shook off and grabbed her sister dragging her out of the house. The way she looked at me and just shook me off hurt worst then when we were fighting. I looked down as the house, that was usually filled with mine and Ashley's words and laughter, was now empty. It was devoid of life, and I needed advice.

I quickly slipped my shoes and coat on as I walked into the light snow.

I now find myself sitting with my mom and dad in my old house.

"What did you do to her?" Mom asked in which I looked down.

"We got into a fight and.....she got upset and now I'm worried about losing her...I don't know what to do!!" I cried out, my dad placed his hand on my shoulder.

"Son...it was a fight...how many times do you think your mother and I have fought?" He asked me, I shook my head yes, because they had several fights before. "And we are still together aren't we?" He asked...I gave a small smile and nodded. "Go get your wife, and make her feel special." He said, I looked at mom as she shoved me toward the door.

"Well...get goin son." I smiled and turned to hug her, finally my mother was being nice...really nice toward me. It might be just because I'm out from under her and married...but, I didn't care......

Ashley's POV

I woke up this morning with a violent shake running through my stomach and it landed me in the bathroom with Prim holding my hair back.
