You Again

veronica's POV

i was so shocked about the fact that i had to sit with the guy who i recently bumped into and is someone i don't like very much . after seeing him sitting their fiddling with his phone i just zoned off thinking about how am gonna put up with a jerk like him for five hours ! Then suddenly i was brought back to reality by hearing a voice saying " hey, and we meet again " .

I was left gawking at him as if he was some kind of an alien or something i just asked " are you bipolar or something? I mean one minute you act like a rude guy and the very next minute you act so friendly ! " he just smiled at my reply and replied " five minutes" I looked at him confused and asked " what do you mean by five minutes ? "

he said " we met five minutes ago , I don't change every minute " . I was spellbound yet a smile crept it's way on my lips and I just asked him " any way what got you so mad five minutes back ? I mean you look like a friendly guy " he looked at me with a mixture of happiness and confusion and replied "Do you really wanna know about it ? " I just nodded my head and said " if you're comfortable telling about it to me "

he took his cue to proceed" I got mad because My ex-girlfriend was very clingy and she came here to beg me to stay but, I didn't listen to her and I was about to miss my flight . By the way sorry for my rudeness " i smiled and replied " apology accepted and i know it must be weird talking about your relationship to a complete stranger , am Veronica . Veronica miller "

I held my hand out for him to shake and he happily took it and said " Am Luke Davis and it's nice meeting you Veronica ! " I smiled and said " it's nice meeting you too , Luke " I sat down next to him and buckled up my belt as the flight was about to take off .

There's this one thing that I hate about flights and that is ...... THE TAKE OFF !! I was nervous as hell , my palm were getting sweaty , I was feeling nauseous . Luke must have seen my uneasiness and he asked " hey , are you OK ? " I just gave him my most nervous giggle and replied " y..yeah am abs..olutely fine ! " my voice was getting a Little squeaky there. He just laughed at my reply and said " sure you are ! you look like as if you have peed your pants . C'mon tell me what's wrong ? "

I looked at him and said " promise me you won't laugh or judge me " he firmly stared right into my eyes and said " i promise i won't laugh or judge you " I don't know what was happening but i was feeling a little different just by him looking at me like the way he was . This feeling was something I was experiencing for the first time but i thought it must be my fear and told him " I .. um , I am scared of take offs " I replied shyly looking at my fingers .

Go ahead Luke laugh at me for my fear and think of me as a paranoid girl . But he didn't . He didn't laugh , instead he just held his hand for me and said " hold it tight . It's not much I can do but i hope that it makes you feel good " he gave me a wonderful smile .

What is this guy? He's too good to be true I mean these kind of guys only exist in movies and not in real world. Something's up with him . My thoughts were conflicting with each othe but anyhow I accepted his hand a warm blush crept up my cheeks and i said " thank you " . The plane took off and my hold got so tight that i was sure that i had dug my fingernails into his flesh.

When the take off was done I opened my eyes and looked at him and flashed him my greatest smile but then i looked at his hand and I was right about the fact that I actually had dug my nails into his palm so hard that his palm was red and a frown crept on my face and i said " Oh my god Luke ! am really sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you . Does it hurt ? Oh what kind of an idiot I am definitely it would be hurting you I am really very ..."

then suddenly his index finger was placed on my lips and he just smiled and said " shhh! you are blabbering and it's nothing I can't take , am fine , it doesn't hurt " I was taken off guard I was not able to catch a single word he was saying as i was busy staring at him. He is something else , I've never met a guy that has been this nice to me in my whole 18 years of life . He definitely is too good to be true . But somehow i also thought maybe he is a really genuine personand am just over thinking about him but i had to be careful . But i just decided to with the flow I mean it wouldn't harm or would it ?
