Hall Passes And Detention

Veronica's P.O.V

What does he think of himself ? The world doesn't revolve around him and I have a life to get back to . Whatever I have to stop thinking about the events that took place today and carry on , because of him I can't let my day get ruined . He is a nobody to me and he is like the usual guys who casually hook up as many times a day as they eat food .

So I make my way towards my History class. As I enter the class I see many faces that I don't recognise as it is still my first day here. Our teacher Mr.Walker is a nice guy with salt and pepper hair and he is really cool. I like him out of all the teachers thah I have .

"Okay , class today we will be starting with The French  Revolution which indeed is a very interesting topic "

Mr.Walker started scribbling on the white board and I got myself busy by jotting down the notes and paying undue attention about the topic. 

I was sitting by the window seat as calm as possible giving my whole attention to French Revolution when suddenly I heard some sound but I chose to ignore it thinking it might have been an insect or just my vivid imagination .

The sound stopped for a while but it started again and this time it was a whisper "pst"  "pst"  . I looked out of the window and found Luke standing in the lawn and waving his arms like a lunatic in his basketball jersey.  He was kinda looking hot Wait a second did I just say that ? I am literally going mad. I am supposed to hate him so I just frowned at him and started looking back at the whiteboard .

He doesn't deserve my attention after the stunt he has performed and by all means I am not going to talk to him . I have my reasons for doing so and they are very valid according to me . What does he think that I will fall in his trap ? I guess he hasn't met anyone like me . Who cares I am here to study and that is what I hope to do.

The whispers finally died down and it's been like 5 minutes and no voice could be heard now so I decided to sneak a peek and was relieved that he was finally gone . phew  at least he's not clingy and has some self respect .Problem solved ! Well that was quite easy .

The class will be over in about 15 minutes and then I will be free ! Yay

Suddenly there was a knock at the door and as I glanced at the door I froze . This can't be happening No it's not possible

"How may I help you young man ? " Mr.Walker asked the disturbing element at the door

By now you guys should be knowing that Luke is standing at the door looking at me and I just sulked A little In my chair hoping that he won't be able to see me .

Oh! God this is so embarrassing forget about him not being clingy .

"Yes sir , I have a hall pass for Veronica Miller as she is being called by the principal"

Shit ! Fuck , what the hell did I do I mean c'mon it's my first day here and the principal of the uni . This is so not happening to me .

"May I have a look at the hall pass Mr.... "

"Luke Davis " He said handing the hall pass to Mr.Walker who examined it for a while and then annonced my name. I stood up and followed Luke out of the classroom I was in no mood to talk so I just followed him silently. 

After a while I realised that we weren't going to the principal's office

"Hey! This isn't the way to principal's office where are we going ? "

" So atlast you finally decide to speak ?"

"Cut the crap Luke  and tell me what the hell is going on ? "

" Listen , I am really sorry because I didn't show up at lunch because I had my basketball practice which got extended "

"Whatever but you could have called me . I waited there for a whole hour and you don't show up ! I can't tell you how good it felt , it was so awesome that it left me speechless"

"My phone was in my gym bag and when I tried calling you , it's battery died And one more thing , Sarcasm doesn't suit you "

"Who are you to tell me that sarcasm doesn't suit me . Just because you're so dumb that you can't be sarcastic doesn't mean that you have the right to judge others "

"You know what , forget it . I thought you were different than the others but you prove me wrong . I put all this effort just to make up for my backing out but you know what you don't deserve it "

"You're so..... ugh I hate you , you're so damn self central and obnoxious.  Whatever I don't have time to indulge in a pointless fight with someone like you so you better give me my hall pass so that I can go to the principal's office"

"Fine you wanna go to the principal's office then go even if you weren't called "

"What do you mean I wasn't called ? you were the one who got me out.... shit don't tell me you had fake passes and you got me out for your explanation.  Is it true ? Answer me Luke ! "

"Yeah , its true "

"Oh my god , I can't believe you ! How could you ? Do you realise how stupid you are ? "

"What do you mean by th.... "

Luke was  cut off by the hallway monitor

"What are you two doing out in the corridor when you should be in your classes ? "

I glared at Luke to explain what the hell we were supposed to say

he then said "We um.. Were called by the principal "

" May I have a look  at your hall Passes ? "

"Yeah here " Luke said handing the passes to the monitor

"What's the date today ?"

Luke and I spoke at the same time

"six"

"seventh"

wait a second did Luke just say sixth ? but today's seventh

" Your hall Passes say sixth may but today's seventh which means either these passes are expired or fake but you'll get the same punishment for both the cases - DETENTION

WHAT THE FUCK ?  detention on the first day ? Such a good way to start the year all thanks to this dumb ass standing right next to me . I have never hated someone to this extent but this idiot just gets on my nerves . Never had I thought that my first day would end up like this  !  Bloody Asshole just because of him I have to face this .

A/N: I know I have updated after ages and left you all hangingfor more than a month But I was very busy . I know you all must have forgotten the story and would have left it halway but if you guys don't read further I just want you all to know that you would be missing a great story ! My life has been a total roller coaster for the past one and a half months .
