Chapter 4 - OWCH!!

"What happened?" Key suddenly asked

"Ow... my leg..." Jessica moaned whilst running her hand down it. Everyone ran over, Taemin was close to tears.

"Mianhae, mianhae!!" He repeated over and over. But he was ignored as everyone's attention was on Jessica.

"Minho pick her up!" Key ordered the strongest member. Minho walked over and picked up Jessica whose face showed pain. The managers quickly took her and carried her to the emergency room. At this point Taemin was in tears and ran to the car.

"I didn't mean to I promise!" He whailed as he ran out of the door.

"Taemin wait!" Key ran after him. All the girls smiled at Key then looked back at the other three boys.

"So..." They muttered.

"Let's go back to practicing I'm sure they're both okay!" Onew suggested

"But Key's partner?" Jonghyun looked at Whitney.

"Oh.. I know the dance I'll just keep practicing and I'm quick to learn lyrics. I'll be fine!" and with that she got up and practiced in the corner. Onew and his partner Zoe gladly started singing again and Jonghyun and Niya started on the dance. Minho had been staring at the ground where Jessica was.

What did Taemin do? He seemed so sorry and said he never meant to...? He wondered

"Minho~ MINHOOO~" came the soft voice of Jasmine who was now stood in front of Minho waving her arms about "Omo, you sure get spaced out easily.." She said as his eyes fluttered and looked at her.

"Sorry, I was just-- Let's go finish the Rap then?" Minho walked back to the corner and waited for her. Jasmine shrugged it off and went to work.

"Taemin.. Taemin are you okay? Unlock the door so I can come in!" Key begged, he heard quiet sobs from behind the door. "It's just me.. No one else.. Please Taemin let me in!" Taemin unlocked the car. Key quickly opened the door and jumped inside. "Now please tell me what happened back there?" Key questioned calmly.

"W-well, I, we were--" Taemin couldn't finish the sentence he was crying too hard. Key rubbed his back.

"It's okay calm down and then tell me!" Key comforted and reached under his seat to where he had hidden banana milk for emergencies. He picked one up and handed it to Taemin. Who half-smiled and gladly took it. His sobs started to settle as he slurped it up. Key looked a him.

"Are you ready to tell me?" Key questioned softly. Taemin nodded and took a deep breath.

"Well, we were practicing one of the dances, and I accidentally stepped on her foot and she was dancing so she tripped up. I tried to grab her as she fell but I didn't get her in time. Instead she landed awkwardly on her leg!" Taemin blurted, he was so sorry and had no idea why he was so off when dancing. Even Key found it weird that Taemin had done a dance step wrong.

"Taemin-ah, it's fine! Accidents happen! Let's just hope she's okay to do the concert..." Key looked at Taemin and stepped out of the car. Taemin followed slowly, his fingers crossed tightly hoping she was okay. They both trotted into the room, Taemin's face was very guilty looking. Key on the other hand had a worried face. "I hope Jess is okay..." he paced back and forth. Taemin held in his tears. Whitney was the first to run over to Key.

"Jessica is a strong girl, she'll be fine and back up dancing in no time!" she managed a half-smile. Key looked at her still worried but nodded. Zoe walked to the middle of the room.

"I think we should all rest and wait to see what the manager-hyungs have to say!" she suggested and waited for the managers to return. Everyone nodded more or less and walked to the middle with their water bottles and chatted anxiously waiting. Suddenly the door burst open and everyone jumped up! SHINee's manager walked in with a 'not so happy' face. He looked around the room at the teens and sighed.
