Chapter 13 - Silenced

Taemin was up first to avoid any awkward contact, he slowly got up from the bed so not to wake Whitney or Key. He walked to the bathroom passing Jessica on the way. He looked at her sleeping and it felt as though a million tiny needles were pricking his heart. He clenched his eyes shut and somehow made it to the bathroom. He went in the shower.

Key heard the shower turn on and the soft pitter patter of the water hiting the plastic. He slowly sat up in bed so not to wake Whitney. He made sure his hair was perfect before leaving the room, he stretched as he walked into the kitchen to grab a small snack.

Onew and Zoe woke up on top of eachother, Zoe blushed and rolled off Onew and giggled.

"What happened last night then?" Jonghyun chuckled whilst grabbing the hairspray from Onew's drawer then walking out. Onew blushed, he didn't remember anything happened...? Zoe sat up and started to get changed they would have to leave soon to go to rehearsal. Onew got up after her and grabbed her from behind and hugged her.

"Onew-ah" She giggled whilst playfully pushing him off. "Come on now, we have to go soon! Get dressed!" She smiled at him pecking him on the cheek then left to the living room. She saw Jessica was still asleep. She walked over and shook her. "Come on Jess we have to go soon!" At that moment Taemin walked out with his green trousers and white top with a black jacket, he brushed his fingers through his hair and smiled at Zoe, but didn't speak, he sat on the sofa and fiddled with his shoelaces. Zoe smiled back, Jessica opened her eyes and frowned.

"Five more minutes!" She said turning over.

"No we have to go in five minutes, come on!" Zoe pulled her to her feet, "Go in Onew's room and look through my bag for some clothes, hurry now!" Zoe said pushing her to the bedroom. Onew walked out and smiled.

"Morning!" He said as he joined Key in the kitchen. Key had just finished washing the bowl he used for breakfast. He smiled and went to get changed. He met with a fully dressed Whitney and smiled pulling her into another deep kiss. Whitney blushed. When they had finished she went and joined Onew and Zoe on the sofa. Jonghyun, Niya, Minho and Jasmine soon came in fully dressed. Finally Jessica and Key walked out, they saw eachother, Jessica looked away ashamed and Key frowned and sat by Whitney. Everyone seemed to stare at Jessica, it made her turn red. Finally a knock broke the silence. 

"Must be manager-hyungs!" Niya said whilst opening the door. Everyone stood up behind her. The managers stood there smiling.

"Annyeong, are we all ready?" SHINee's manager asked. Everyone cheered, except Taemin and Jessica, the managers noticed this but didn't think anything of it. Everyone ran and jumped in the cars, everyone excitedly chatted and laughed. In the SHINee car, Taemin didn't speak a word. In 2GE4's car Jessica stared out the window. As they reached the dance studio, everyone, except Jessica and Taemin, walked in and got straight into practicing. Taemin went in and sat on the chair and watched. He had a plain expression on his face and looked so sad that even his cheery eyes drooped. Jessica sat on the opposite side of the room. She felt sick with disgust in herself. She kept glancing up at Taemin who seemed to be staring into nothing. 

Key and Whitney both kept checking on Taemin and Jessica, they were now like a mum and dad looking after their squabbling children. They couldn't help but feel sad themselves, they really cared for the maknaes and wanted to help but didn't know how. Key could never forgive Jess, but if it would help Taemin he'd be willing to. The managers walked in to watch the hard workers but as soon as they walked in, they could feel the tension, they also noticed that Key, Whitney, Jessica and Taemin were definately off. They wondered why, Taemin was usually the one to be bouncing off every wall smiling and dancing, Jessica was usually a hard worker. Key and Whitney, well lets just say they work hard but in their own ways. The managers thought about confronting them.

"SHINee, 2GE4. Please come here!" SHINee's manager ordered.

"We have something to say!" 2GE4's manager stated. Everyone turned to look at them with a more or less horrifed face. What were they going to say?
