Chapter 16 - Hospital worries

The doors of the car flew open and Minho quickly carried Taemin inside to the Hopspital. Jonghyun stopped Key from getting out of the car.

"Move!" Key screamed eager to see his 'baby' inside. Jonghyun chuckled and grabbed Kibum's legs. "Yaaah!" Key's arms flew in the air as Jonghyun piggybacked him in to the hospital.

"I'll wait here for the girls!" Onew called whilst closing the car door.

Inside the hospital they had already got a room. Taemin was now out cold. Key frantically paced back and forth around the room.

"Kibum-ah, sit down!" Jonghyun moaned feeling dizzy from his continuous paces. Kibum sighed and looked at Taemin. 

"Will he be okay hyung?" He questioned the manager. The manager ran a hand through his greasy hair and sighed. Kibum took this as a no and ran to the seat by Jonghyun and hugged into him so that he wouldn't cry. Jonghyun rubbed Key's back but that only made him feel worse. Taemin led lifelessly on the hospital bed. Although he looked peaceful, with his eyes closed, he also looked in pain. The doctors rushed around trying to figure out what had caused such an outburst. Minho watched from the chair on the otherside of Jonghyun. His eyes never left the boy.

Soon the door flung open and a pile of girls, and Onew, literally fell through the door.

"Taemin-ah!" Each girl called as they ran to the side of his bed. The doctors ushered them away in case they were to trip on the wires they had connected to Taemin's skinny body. They each nodded and sat down. Zoe held Onew's hand, she squeezed tightly she was so worried.

Whitney sat on the otherside of Kibum and hugged him, he turned to her and smiled. Minho looked to see Jasmine who was staring at Minho. He sighed and thought, would now be the best time? Jasmine walked over to him. 

"Minho.." She started

"Jasmine.." He said at the same time. They smiled and Jasmine sat down. 

"You say it first.." Jasmine felt a tug at her chest she knew what was coming. Minho looked at her with his big brown eyes and sighed. 

"I know, this isn't the best time... but I feel like we could end up badly. Don't take this the wrong way but.." Minho had no idea how to explain. Jasmine sighed

"I understand.. Let's just be friends, right?" She smiled trying to lift his mood.

"Ne~ I would like that!" He smiled and hugged her. Nobody had seemed to notice the breakup since all attention was on Taemin. The doctors were still examining. Everyone was scared, if they had been looking this long surely it must be bad. Kibum and Whitney were in eachothers arms, Key was close to tears but held them in for Taemin. Onew and Zoe were now yawning but were still worried. The doctors turned around. 

"There is a slight problem..." The doctor said sadly. Everyone's heads shot up with fear struck in their eyes. "Taemin could be under medical care for a while, it seems he can't eat without puking or heaving..." Kibum frowned.

"But, how long? And what medication is he taking?" Key overloaded with questions. The doctor answered as much as he could. 

"But only one person can stay with him overnight, sorry to say." The doctor finished with. Everyone looked around. Jessica hadn't spoken, or in fact, done anything since she got here. She felt terribly guilty for this. She felt like crying but she kept it in and stood up.

"I..will..." Her voice came out croakier than anyone expected. Everyone's eyes turned to Jessica. Key disagreed but Whitney changed his mind.

"Give her a  chance Kibummie~" Whitney scolded. Kibum nodded in agreement but was grumpy about it, but like he said he would have to forgive her anyway...

Each member got tired and started to leave. Before they did, they all went over and said a few words to Taemin and then left. Kibum and Whitney stayed the longest. Key was in tears by the end, Whitney managed to walk him to the car before waving goodbye and jumping in her own. Jessica felt less guilty now that she was able to redeem herself.

"I'll come when you call me okay Jess?" Her manager spoke softly. Jessica nodded.

"Yes if I need anything.. or anyone, I will call you manager-oppa.." She said a bit glumly. As he left she walked closer to Taemin, the doctors had connected him to some weird machines, one that showed his heart rate, and there was a tube going into his mouth so that if he got worse it would help him somewhat. It pained Jessica to see him like this. She felt it was her fault. No, she knew it was her fault. Her heart dropped as she sat on the chair next to his bed. He led lifelessly on the bed. She waited for the doctors to leave before taking his hand in hers.

"You probably can't here me right now but, this is the worst thing I have ever done to any one. I'm truly sorry to have put you in this state Taemin. I really am.." Her voice trailed off as the lump in her throat grew, "But I just wanted to say I really do love you.. And I realised this now, I was wrong before. Just please, please be okay!" She trembled, near tears.
