I counted three empty rum bottles rolling on the table and another was half empty beside three glasses. This coupled with their flushed cheeks told the story. They were drunk. Drunk and touching my Tetsuya. My voice was cold, my eyes flashing with anger on my face.
"What is going on here?"
My two crew members jumped up, hearing my voice and Daiki stumbled over the bench, falling in a heap on the floor. Ryota let a small giggle escape him but when I turned my cold eyes on him he silenced immediately.
"Sei-kun, I missed you!"
The bluenette jumped off the table and stumbled. He would have fallen but I grabbed his arm and pulled him up. He stood, swaying before me as he tried to focus on my face. I stripped my jacket off to place over his shoulders and turned to the others, Daiki was getting to his feet. Neither of them met my eyes.
"I told you to watch over him. Not to get drunk. What were you thinking?"
My voice didn't go higher than a cold whisper but they flinched as if I had struck them. When I yelled, they knew my anger would fade. When it was silent they knew they had awoken my rage.
"Well, we just had a few, we wanted to umm"-
"We were just relaxing."
"Relaxing? You should not have been relaxing. What would have happened if he had stumbled outside? None of you can even stand straight!"
I caught Kuroko as he stumbled again. He frowned at me, sensing my anger.
"Why are you so mad? Do you think I look amazing too? See, like what you see?"
He tried to pull the jacket off but I covered him back up and glared at my two subordinates.
"Get up on deck. I want you scrubbing it until it shines. Then you will prepare breakfast and clean up this mess."
I untied the rope from the bench and holding it and Kuroko's arm in my hand I marched us upstairs. The merman stumbled after me, unable to walk straight but I half dragged him along. When we reached my cabin I tossed him on the bed and glared down at him. His eyes slid away from me and he drew his knees up to his chest. I tried to control my rage but again I heard the laughter and saw their hands on his chest. I slammed my fist into the desk causing the smaller boy to jump.
"I'm sorry."
"Sorry?"
I moved towards the bed and grabbed his arm, pulling him towards me.
"Sorry for what? Allowing another man to touch you? Allowing two men to touch you?"
I saw him swallow in fear and try to pull his arm out of my grip but I wouldn't let him go.
"They just wanted to see my scales. It didn't mean anything."
I felt a rush of anger at his words and pushed him down. He squealed in shock as I straddled him and pinned his hands above his head, wrapping the rope around his wrists.
"It didn't mean anything? I guess this doesn't either."
I pulled the jacket open exposing his chest and leant down to kiss and nibble the scales that decorated the pale skin beneath me. He squirmed as I travelled across, a deep blush on his face.
"Do I have to mark you as taken?"
I moved to his neck and lightly bit down earning a small cry from the bluenette.
"Stop it Sei-kun!"
"Why should I? It doesn't mean anything, I just want to touch your scales."
I moved to the other side of his neck and bit down, harder this time. He whimpered and then I was frozen in spot as a small sob followed the sound. I sat back and looked into his face. His eyes were misty with unshed tears as he glanced at me with distress and, even more upsetting, fear on his face. I let his hands go and got off the bed. He instantly covered his face with his hands and curled up into a ball.
