The morning of the full moon dawned bright and beautiful and Akashi woke me up with a kiss and a cup of my delicious vanilla coffee. As I sipped it he sat on the bed and simply watched me, a smile on his face.
"I think you're addicted to that."
I smiled over the rim at him before leaning over and kissing his cheek.
"Not just this."
He grabbed the back of my neck before I could pull away and kissed me again, his tongue twirling with mine. When we broke away for breath I was flushed and his eyes were hungry as he looked at me, naked except the sheet over my waist. I pulled it back slowly and teasingly until it barely covered my lower half. With a growl he pushed me back on the bed and attacked my neck. He knew how much I liked it and before long I was biting my lips to stop any sounds from emerging. He slid a hand down my chest to grab the sheet when there was a knock on our door. He sighed, his head resting on my chest and I pouted. He kissed my lower lip before getting up to answer the door and I pulled the sheet back over me.
"Good morning Kuroko."
Kagami walked in, looking wide awake, his eyes sparkling on his face.
"It was."
I grumbled. Akashi smirked at my dejected tone but Kagami simply cocked his head.
"Where's Aomine?"
"He left early this morning with the fisherman. They will need to be back, all their nets and lines out of the water by lunch time."
"I thought he would be with you today, you two are barely ever apart."
Akashi leant against the door frame and I saw Kagami's cheeks turn pink.
"We aren't always together."
Akashi winked at me as I smiled, drinking the last of my coffee. Something was happening there and I was happy for it.
"Once you're ready, meet me at the beach."
"Great, more lessons."
I scowled at the two red heads who simply shrugged.
"We are just making sure you're prepared. It will be harder now that you're older."
Kagami and Akashi had both been teaching me about the change I was going to go through tonight. A part of me was still afraid but a bigger part was simply excited about the change. I remembered the promise of the oceans call and the way Kagami described flying through the water was incredible and had me wanting to try. Akashi hurried Kagami out of the room so I could get changed.
"We will finish this later."
He winked as he left and my heart skipped a beat. I couldn't wait.
I was resting under one of the trees in the afternoon when a shadow fell over me. I looked up to see Aomine standing over me, his hands in his pocket. He had his usual carefree smile on his face but I could see he had something troubling him.
"What's the matter Aomine?"
"Can we talk Tetsu?"
I nodded and indicated the spot next to him but he shook his head, glancing around at the people nearby.
"Can we go somewhere private? Please?"
Aomine had never asked me so politely for something before, he must really be troubled. I stood up and dusted the sand off me.
"Okay, lead on."
He headed off into the trees at a fast pace I had to hurry to keep up. Akashi looked up as we passed, a frown on my face. I shrugged my shoulders, I didn't know what he wanted. He raised an eyebrow, asking me if I needed company but I shook my head, we would be fine. Our silent conversation was done in a second and he kissed his fingers and waved them too me. I did the same before we disappeared into the tree line.
