Kuroko's Pov

I was so nervous as I walked down the aisle, all eyes were on me but I could only meet a pair of mismatched gold and crimson ones mouth hung open as he stared at me and I could see tears sparkling in his eyes.

"He can walk."

I saw his lips move and my heart leapt into my throat. The month of intense therapy and training for this moment had paid off. I would go through all the pain, tears and frustration a thousand times to simply see this look on my lovers face.

I could sense Kagami glancing at me, worried that I might fall over. This was the furthest I had walked without any help. Suddenly my left knee gave out and I stumbled. I would have fallen had Kagami not snaked his hand around my waist and propped me up. A collective sigh of relief went through everyone watching as I straightened up and walked the last few steps on my own, my hand just resting on Kagami's arm. When I stood before Akashi he surprised me by leaning down and kissing me, my heart fluttering in my chest.

"Prince Akashi, that's too early!"

More laughter rang out and I felt my cheeks heat up. Kagami and Akashi embraced as I tried to cool my face down. Kagami kissed my cheek before sitting down and Akashi held both of my hands in his own.

I had never seen a man so beautiful. His hair was immaculate, not a strand was out of place. His eyes were sparkling as he looked me over, a smile lit up his face. The gold and silver in his eyes caught my attention and I never wanted this moment to end but I forced my eyes off him and to Kasamatsu.

"Welcome all to this long, long, long awaited day. There were times when we all thought our dear captain, our prince would never meet the one to spend the rest of his days with. It has been a long and arduous path, dealing with his mood swings when he had to go to a cold bed."

I giggled as Akashi rolled his eyes at Kasamatsu's words.

"And then like a storm, a little blue haired merman rushed into his life. They say the sea provides and it did for these two, it brought these two soul mates into each other's arms. Life on the open sea can be lonely, sometimes it can drive a man mad but when you sail those seas with the one you love, all those troubles disappear. Akashi has written his own vows.

I looked up in shock and Akashi smiled, gently squeezing my hands as he stared deeply into my eyes and I was warmed by the amount of love I saw in them.

"Tetsuya, before you I was drifting aimlessly though life. Then you came to me on the waves and you became my compass. Your love has put wind in my sails and your hands hold the wheel to my life. Where you go I will follow, over land, across the sea and through the storms I will be by your side from this day until my last day."

I blinked away tears, not wanting to make my face red and puffy. He reached forward and brushed a petal off my face, his hands warm.

"I-I didn't prepare anything."

"That's okay Tetsuya."

"But-but I want so say something."

Kasamatsu had opened his mouth to continue with the ceremony but closed it, nodding for me to continue. I took a deep breath and gripped Akashi's hands.

"Sei-kun. My life was always one bound in chains. I never dreamed of the life I have by your side. You showed me a world bigger than I thought possible and a love that I had only read about. You truly are the other half to my soul, the light to my shadow. I love you, Seijuro."

Where those tears in his eyes? I blinked in surprise as Akashi pinched the bridge of his nose and I saw others behind us crying. Kagami himself discreetly wiped away a tear. When I would ask it of him later, he would swear it was because he looked into the sun.
