Chapter 16

I watched as Dom and Brian talked, more like argued. Dom was accusing Brian of making Cameron come just so he could arrest Ariana, and Brian was trying to tell Dom that he never knew Cameron was a cop until a year ago. I watched as Mia walked over and yelled at both of them waving me over.
"Listen!" She said scaring Brian and Dom, everyone looked over at them and laughed.
"I don't care what Cameron did or didn't do, all we know is that we need him and Ariana back. But fighting isn't going to help us." she said making me snicker and got disapproving looks from both men.
"Mia's right we don't have time for you two to be arguing." I said making Dom look down at his feet, Brian just shook his head. I grabbed Dom's hand and took him back to our room, he kept his head down the whole time. He looked up at me when we entered our room, he had hurt in his eyes.
"Babe it's okay, she's going to be okay. As long as Brian keeps in touch with him she should be fine." I said making him frown, I frowned. I believed Cameron, he would keep our daughter safe.

Cameron's POV

I woke up with Ariana cuddled up against me. Her bare back against my chest, her breathing steady. I smiled and wrapped my arms around her causing her to turn around and cuddled up against me. I smiled even harder, she wiggled a bit then stopped. I could feel her lips press against my bare chest, I shivered from the touch. She felt it and her eyes opened, she met my eyes and smiled. I kissed her forehead, she leaned into it.
"Good morning beautiful." I said and she chuckled.
"Good morning handsome, I love you." She said it and my heart melted.
"I love you too." I said and could see the love in her eyes, I couldn't believe that when we get back to L.A. my boss was going to have to arrest her. Only because she told them where the truck were coming in and out of, I stared into her dark brown eyes. They looked happy, they looked love. I could only imagine waking up to this everyday, married having kids. I know she's only sixteen but I know now that I wanna spend the rest of my life with this girl.
I could feel the love, she smiled at me and kissed me. Her lips felt so good on mine, why didn't I tell her from the beginning. She pulled back and stood up looking for her clothes, she found them and put them on. She looked around at me after she had all her clothes on, she smiled said goodbye and walked out. I knew why she left, I found my clothes and put them on. I stood up looking around the room, there wasn't much to do in here so I found my phone and called Letty.
She picked up on the second ring.
"Hello?" her voice made me sigh. I didn't want to tell her about my night with her daughter.
"Letty, it's me. Cameron." I heard her gasp.
"Oh my God! Are you okay?" she asked just like my mom, I smiled at least she cared about me.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I said making her sigh on the other side. I laughed and she bombarded me with questions.
"Where is she?" she finally asked, I knew who she was talking about.
"I don't know, she stayed with me last night and then left this morning." I said, I looked around the room and saw something under the door. I walked over there still talking to Letty, I picked it up and saw it was a piece of paper.
"Letty I'll talk to you later." I said that and hung up, I looked at the piece of paper and saw it was folded. I unfolded the paper and saw Ariana's handwriting.

"Cameron, Shaw has a plan. I'm only telling you because my team needs to know this. I'm sorry for everything I said, I need to tell them the truth. I need them to know that I'm okay and that he hasn't hurt me. Yet. He has a room with a huge padlock on it, one of his team members messes up they go there. And I'm scared I'm going to end up in there soon. He tells me that you're the next one to be punished. Brian did something to him that he wants revenge on you. I need to hurry and say the plan. He intends to kill Dad, dad tried to kill him. An he wants revenge. Cameron I need you to find a way out of here." I read it and my heart dropped, me punished for something Brian did.
I found another piece of paper, this one a map of this place. I looked it over and found like ten different ways to get out of here. I looked the map over for about two hours before I heard footsteps coming down the hallway. I jumped up stuffing the map and note it my pocket. Then the door opened and a large man walked in and grabbed my arms dragging me out of the room and to a room full of computers, I looked around and my eyes met Ariana's.
"Tie him to the chair." I heard a voice behind me say. I then saw the chair and started struggling against the man, his arms much bigger than mine kept me in place. I struggled again, to no avail. I let him tie me to the car, and when he was done Shaw stood in front of me. He smirked and I frowned.
"Brian is going to miss you." he said and punched me. I felt my lip bleeding, I growled at him and he hit me again. I let him hit me again and again, every time I saw Ariana jump.
"Do you understand why I'm killing you and not Brian?" I shook my head no.
"He ruined a good plan, and him and Dominic put me in the hospital." I smirked.
"Bet you deserved it." I said it and felt a hot metal in my leg. I screamed, I looked down at it. They took a screw driver and torch and made the screwdriver hot. I looked up and met her eyes, she was crying a woman standing next to her nodded at the man who brought me in here. The man left my side and went and grabbed Ariana and sat her in a chair next to me. And took the screwdriver to her leg, she screamed.
"Stop! Please!" I begged and then they finally did, I promised to take care of his daughter.
"Don't do anything to her. Do it all to me." I said and Shaw smirked. I frowned and looked at her, she had a horrified look in her eyes. I nodded to her and lipped 'everything is okay.' she nodded and looked away.
"I'm ready, just don't hurt her." I said and felt the hot metal touch my skin again. I groaned in pain and arched my back, I looked around and I saw him out of the corner of my eye. Dom. He knelt on one side of the doorway and another big ass dude was on the other side of the door. Brian was in the middle of the two, he held a shotgun. I felt the heat of the screwdriver touch my other leg.
"I'm going to regret this but." I said and kicked Shaw in the face, only to have a sharp pain form in my leg. I grunted and got free from the rope, tying me to the chair. A woman around Mia's age came at me, I grabbed the chair and swung it at her. She dodged it and grabbed the screwdriver Shaw had dropped, and swung it at me. I dodged it and swung the chair again and this time it hit her. She fell to the floor and stayed there.
I felt someone by my side, I looked over and saw Ariana. She saw the screwdriver and went for it, when she grabbed it she went for Shaw. The big guy who dragged me in here looked at me and smirked. He ran at me but another big blocked him, Dom grabbed my hand and threw me out of the way. I struggled to regain my balance, and when Ariana started running towards me I stumbled again and I fell. She grabbed me by the shoulder and helped me up. I heard a shotgun go off, when I went to see what it was a car pulled up.
Tej rolled down the passenger window and yelled at us telling us to get in. I let Ariana in first and got in after her, she pulled me close to her and kissed me. I kissed back wincing, she pulled away and put her hands on my legs. She frowned and leaned down to check them out, her fingers touched one of them and I flinched. She said sorry and continued checking them out, I felt her fingers touch my leg again and I moved her hands and reached down to check her wound out. She flinched when I touched her leg.
"So, one question. How the heck did he end up worse than you?" Tej asked making me frown and Ariana smile. She answered the question and I didn't listen I ended up thinking about Brian and the gun shot. Dom was there if anything happened to Brian Dom would take care of it, I laid my head against the window. I remembered this one time when I was little when I stayed at Brian's and Jack and I were playing around when I cut my leg on a piece of glass the Brian and been using for his car, I screamed and Mia came out she was holding Madison and called for Brian.
They never told my parents about it, only because my dad was a drunk. And my mom would've hit me, my parents weren't the kind of parents every kid wants. I spent most of my time with my grandma, Brian always told me that my dad was exactly like his dad. He always said he could see his brother being a mini- grandpa.
