A X Broken X Kiss

Warning: A bit of depression and a thought of suicide. BUT IT ENDS GOOD! SO SHUSH MY READERS!

You and Killua Zoldyck had been forced to marry each other, "For the family business!" they say. Truth be told, you're both assassins, and hate the job. Mercilessly killing people for money or 'rewards', but us, it wasn't the rewards that kept us going, it was the monsters making us.

You secretly always had a crush on the young silver-haired Zoldyck, but never knew if he liked you, as a friend, a crush, or an enemy. You should've been pleased that you guys married, but it wasn't his choice, so there weren't any real feelings there.

During the ceremony, when he was allowed to "Kiss the bride", he did but it just felt so.....broken, he didn't try to make it passionate, the emotions put into the kiss by him said 'I.Don't.Care'. When I felt that vibe from it, I had thought it was my imagination, but looking back on it, I realized how utterly stupid I was. I was sucked up into the happiness of marrying him that I didn't care about that small detail, but to my simple headed mind, That Wasn't Small Detailed AT...ALL! Stupid me!

Well anyway let's get to the present, shall we?

Killua always cuddled you at night after the wedding, now he just turned away, back facing you completely. You looked at him, the bed was soft, the blankets were warm, but something just made everything cold around you. "Killua?" You spoke, your voice came out soft, like a gentle breeze blowing on a summers day, he didn't hear, he didn't look, he didn't 'care.' That was what your mind was repeating, 'he didn't care, 'he doesn't care', 'doesn't care', '....care'. That's all it said. You felt a small, glassy tear roll down your nose, it hit the pillow. You saw Killua stiffen, he was awake that whole time! He had ignored you! You had had enough, you were angry, sad, guilty for some reason, and depressed.

You got up from the bed, totally done with everything. "Where are you going?" You heard a soft mumble from Killua's side of the bed. You froze, trying to think of a good response. "The bathroom, where else?" You said a bit salty, you didn't mean to, it just came out that way. You saw him flinch a bit at your harsh words. 'W-well he....DESERVED IT!' You thought to yourself. "Okay," He said even softer like he was too weak to speak. It made you feel guilty about lying but soon argued to yourself about how he deserved it. 

You quickly walk to the 'bathroom',  but right as the bedroom door shut, you used the other door to get out. 'Hah! He won't see it coming!' You thought to yourself triumphantly. You ran downstairs and out the front door, closing it very softly 'Dang! He'll still hear!'. You had no time to lose, so you ran, your plan was to go to the cliff leading down to the sea.

~Mini time skip~

Huffing, you got to the cliff. It was very pretty, very very pretty indeed. You looked down at the water's edge, the water was deep enough to jump into. Then you heard shouting, you turned around to see Killua running to you with abnormal speed. His face was mixed emotions, guilt, sadness, and horror. He had tears in his eyes while running, shouting pleas. He had caught on at last. You gave him a smile, a real smile this time. You then turned around and jumped, you felt soft skin brush against your arm. Which means, of course, he had reached the cliff edge and had tried to catch you. 

Everything seemed to go in slow motion for you, his face horrified that he hadn't caught you on time. He took off his shirt and.....'DAMM! THOSE ABS!' you thought for a second. Then he did something that startled you and horrified you too. He jumped off the cliff after you, man did he look graceful falling.....I MEAN......uhhhh. He caught up to you in no time, he took you in his arms and before hitting the water together he whispered "Don't ever, EVER do that again (Y/N)! Please? I-I love y-you.....", he leaned back and I noticed that there were tears spilling out of his ocean blue eyes. I smiled softly and then whispered back "I love you too, Killua.". '

SPLASH!' echoed through the night.

I opened my eyes just to close them again for the burning sensation hit them. Finally adjusted to it, I open my eyes to see a familiar face in front of me. Killua. He leaned in closer and closer, until his lips connected with mine. Surprised, I felt my cheeks burn. But I closed my eyes and kissed back, I was running out of oxygen which wasn't good because, well because were under water -_-.  Killua noticed my struggle and started swimming with me in his arms, it was very hard to swim but we had to get to the top!

Finally, the water's surface broke, I started coughing and heavily breathing. Killua struggled to bring us to the sand, I was very weak. I felt like I couldn't swim anymore, my arms and legs hurt and I think Killua noticed this. The waves kept tossing us around like we were rag dolls, finally, I pulled myself to land, Killua doing the same.

We laid there for a while, heavily breathing. Killua rolled over to me, kissed my cheek, and then struggled to get up. Me? I could barely move a muscle, I had NO IDEA how Killua could move.....Like da hell? He finally stood up, he looked down to me, then did an attempt to pick me up bridal style.  That attempt just made us topple over.

This repeated until Killua finally got enough strength to lift me up, our quest to get up the hill and to the house had just begun. Man, this is gonna be hard but with the love of my life Killua with me. Everything is easy.

I really do love him.

A/N

Well this, this is work to be proud of! And I sure am proud alright! The reason why this is so depressing is that I just read another depressing fanfic and man....that had me in tears. So I tried one, but I didn't want to make my readers suffer in the feels, so I made the ending happy! YAY! Anyways, 1125 words! That's really good! YAY!
