Killua x reader Oneshots!

Birthday Surprise

Killua Zoldyck's birthday is tomorrow and (Y/N) wanted to throw the best birthday party for her boyfriend ever! 

The thing was, how?

She pondered all day and night, thinking about what Killua loves and what type of party he would enjoy. She even thought about what she would give him as a gift, chocolate could work but (Y/N) wanted to make something more meaningful. 

The girl told her, and Killuas, friends about what she was planning on doing. She was going to make a chocolate cake called "Love at First Sight Chocolate Cake", decorate the apartment the two live in and invite guests. All the while Killua will be at work.

"What are you doing?" A voice spooked her from behind, she whirled around to face her boyfriend staring at her. 

"And why are you pacing?" He questioned, staring at her weirdly. 

"Huh? Oh, um, I'm just thinking." She answered, flustered, and trying to lie. 

He grunted and made his way to their bed, "Will you be going to sleep?" she asked her boyfriend. 

"Yeah, will you?"  He turned around her question and aimed it instead at herself. 

"Mm, sure. I guess I am tired." The girl played it off cooly, she collected her thoughts and went to the bathroom to brush her teeth, wash her face, and change.  Once she was done, she exited the bathroom and made her way to the bed.

(Y/N) got under the covers and snuggled into her boyfriend, he put his arm around her and pecked her lips before closing his eyes. She stared at his face for a few seconds before closing her eyes too and drifting off to sleep.

(Y/N) opened one eye to see the bed empty, she bounced up and to her phone. She called Gon first and told him the plan will start soon, she then called Kurapika and Leorio and told them the same thing.

She stood up from the bed and went over to her drawer to get clothes.

After the girl got ready, she exited the house and made her way to the park, where the group would meet. 

"So, what should we do first?" Leorio asked the girl, "Yeah, how should we do this?" Gon chimed in. "Well, let's all split up!" She decided on after thinking of Leorio's question, Kurapika hummed in agreement.  

"Kurapika and I will go to Party Town and get the supplies for decorating, Leorio and Gon will go to the food market and get the ingredients for the cake I will make." (Y/N) planned, telling them what she had thought about last night.

"Sounds good!" Gon innocently replied, smiling brightly at everyone. "Do you have a list of what we need to get?" Leorio asked, the girl nodded to his question and brought a paper out of her bag. "Here. It's the ingredients of what I need for the chocolate cake, don't lose it, it's also the instructions of how to bake it." (Y/N) told him carefully, then handed him a fifty.

"Why the money, (Y/N)?" Gon questioned the girl, "So you guys will be able to pay for it." he just frowned at her answer.

"Nah, it's okay kid. I don't know about Gon but I'll pay for it." Leorio just shook his head and tried to hand the money back, "I'm twenty! I'm not a kid!"  She defended her age, then walked away with Kurapika following. 

"We'll meet up back here," Kurapika shouted at the two figures then turned around and started to follow the girl.

"What supplies do we need?" 

"Uh, I don't know. Balloons? Confetti?" 

"What about plates?"

"That too. Lot's of chocolate."

They continued walking until they reached Party Town, then the two adults walked inside.

Sometime later, they came out of the store with about four bags and started back to the park. They found Gon and Leorio there sitting on a bench with two bags, once the two saw Kurapika and (Y/N) they stood up from the bench and took the bags in hand.

"Got everything you need?" Kurapika asked the two. 

Yeah! We got lots of Chocolate Balls for Killua!" Gon commented, while Leorio just grinned and nodded.

"Great! Let's go back to the apartment and set up." (Y/N) lead the way back to their apartment while everyone followed.

At (Y/N) and Killua's home, everyone was rushing everywhere, trying to prepare the house before the birthday boy arrived.

(Y/N) was frosting the cake she had baked, Kurapika was tieing the 'Happy Birthday Killua' on the wall, Gon was blowing the balloons up, and Leorio was greeting guests who had just started arriving.

For some reason, Hisoka and Illumi were invited, which was probably a really bad idea. Bisky was there, Ikalgo, Retz, Kite, and of course Alluka.

Everything was done, the cake was on the table, the decorations were up, and all the quests were hiding somewhere while using Zetsu. 

When they heard the keys unlocking the door, (Y/N) dashed up and shut off the lights then dashed back to her hiding spot.

The door creaked open and light entered through the opening, "(Y/N)? You home?" Killua called into the house. He then closed the door behind him and went to turn the light on when everyone jumped out and yelled, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KILLUA!" he turned around smiling and started greeting everyone. 

"Eh, why are Illumi and Hisoka here?" He questioned (Y/N), Gon, and Kurapika.

"Well.... we don't really know." Gon answered for the other two.

Everyone chatted for awhile when (Y/N) announced it was time for the cake.

She picked up the beautiful cake with candles and started to walk to the table. Everyone started to sing happy birthday while she walked with the cake.

(Y/N) placed the cake in front of Killua and everyone clapped, he blew them out and cheers were heard.

Killua got one giant piece of cake but not too big because everyone else had to have some too. People started to hand Killua presents and watched as he opened their gifts. He would then thank them and hug them afterward, then continue to eat his cake.

One by one, people started to leave, some volunteered to help clean up, and some just left, wishing Killua happy birthday. 

By the time everyone had left and everything was cleaned up, Killua approached his girlfriend and hugged her.

"Did you plan all of this?" He questioned her, burying his head in her shoulder from behind. "Gon, Leorio, and Kurapika helped, but yes. I also baked the cake." She responded, leaning into him and yawning.

"I could tell." Killua chuckled a little, "Why? Was the cake bad?" she panicked a little. 

"No, it was beautiful. Buuut, not as beautiful as you."  (Y/N) giggled a little and blushed, "I'm sorry I didn't get you a gift." she turned serious.

"I was going to ask about that, anyway, it's okay, you didn't have to." He interrupted her,

"You didn't let me finish, baka!" (Y/N) pouted before resuming. 

"Now, before I was so rudely interrupted, I'm sorry I didn't get you a gift. The only thing that you really love is chocolate, but then I thought that you also love me too. Selfish, I know. So I thought that maybe, maybe my love is the best gift I can give you." She beamed at him, while Killua blushed.

"Baka! Of course your love is all I need." He got quieter at the end and his blush spread rapidly across his face.

She gently caressed his face and kissed his lips, he kissed back right away.

That night, they watched movies and cuddled together for all they needed was each other's love.
