As I walked home in silence, I was slapping myself mentally for avoiding a conversation when she came to me. I chickened and I'm so disappointed in me.
I met my mom's absence at home. I annoyingly kicked my shoes off and dropped my back pack on the couch. I got to the kitchen, downed two glasses of water. I only drink that much when my brains been working too hard.
"Billy, you gotta talk to this girl. You gotta make a move before someone takes the front seat", I told myself quietly.
I went upstairs with my shoes and backpack then came down to have a proper meal. My idea of proper meal is quite funny as I settled down to cereals.
Knock knock,
"I'm coming"
I looked through the peephole and saw a familiar face.
"Welcome mom"
"How're you baby? How's school?"
"Fine, fine mom. Work?"
"Fine too"I looked through her bags and...
"Whoa mom, you brought food"
Now here's the proper meal.
"Thanks mom", I said hugging her then taking out the packs.
I picked one for myself and the other for her.
We sat to eat after I poured them out. After eating,
"Mum, I need to talk to you", I said while clearing the dishes.
She looked into my eyes, seeing my seriousness, she asked me to come and sit.
I sat down and told her in details all I had endured since fresh man year. I couldn't state every but I mentioned memorable ones. The ones I was really dehumanised in front of everybody and behind them. I was in tears telling my mom what I had been through in that high school. She listened and watched me, not saying anything. I knew she was listening to me though. I then told her about Caleb and how he taught me to man up. I was then smiling in between tears. I told her about the fights that ensued between T3 and Caleb and myself. I told her the fight resulted in suspension of T3 and detention for Caleb and myself. I didn't forget to mention how much damage it caused later that day when T3 felt it wasn't over.My mom looked at me intently before speaking.
"I always knew you were going through something son. I saw through your fake smiles and covers. What type of mother would I be if I can't tell when my son isn't fine huh? I only wanted you to speak up. You never did"
"I didn't want to make us leave again", I said.
"I was only going to make the Principal aware. As you should know, he's a fair man. I'm sorry you had to go through all those alone son, I didn't think it was that terrible. I should have intruded, forced myself in!" She was teary now.
"Don't feel bad mom, I should've spoken to you in the first place, I'm so sorry I didn't", I said getting up to hug her.
We were both teary. I hate to see her tears.
"No more hiding stuff Billy"
"No more hiding stuff mom"That said, I asked if she'd like to see a movie.
"What movie?"
"You really have to ask? The Vampire Diaries of course"
"You just never get tired of repeating episodes before the next one huh? Let's see then."
I played the movie on the big screen through my flash drive that contains The Vampire Diaries from S01E01 to S08E10.
We were watching S08E02 when I saw mom asleep. I grabbed a blanket to cover then I went to my room to crash so I don't wake late for school.********************************************************************************************

This chapter is short right? Trust me, I know but when a writer tries to make a chapter long, a lot of unnecessary and boring stuff could come in. Just take it as it is, thank you.
