More than half the period was gone when I heard "Billy Wesley, how'd you spend your last summer?"
I was tongue tied for a second or two. I stood up with the little strength my strength found randomly within me. I opened my mouth a bit for some miracle words to spill but nothing came forth. The class roared in laughter and I only wanted to vanish in the thin air.
Mr Frank repeated what he said earlier and I cleared my throat as if to say something important.
"I hum, stayed indoors all through summer sir" I slowly said like I was scared he'd eat me alive.

"Why? Mom got no money for a trip to some exotic lands?" I heard someone say from behind.
Everyone roared with laughter.
I was near tears as whoever said that just mocked my mother and there was nothing I could do.

My mom wasn't rich like most of my classmates parents but she could pay my tuition fees and have enough money for feeding and a little bit of shopping once in a while. With that, I appreciate my mother a lot and can't stand when despite her efforts, she's mocked in my presence.

I turned to the direction of the voice and saw Kate. I knew I'd be punished for what I was about to say but I must say it anyway.
"At least she wasn't spreading her legs to take me places" I said quietly but the class heard and were shocked at my response to Kate.

I heard Mike laugh in his corner. I couldn't tell if he actually found this funny or he was laughing at what he intended to do to break me. Either didn't bother me more than what Kate had said. Mr Frank silenced the class and was about to say something when the bell rang.
"See you all tomorrow then", he said and everyone ran out like the bell had chased them out.

I had drama next. Thankfully, the T3 and Kate were in the Science department. I kept my eyes glued to the entrance awaiting their arrival when I remembered they didn't have this class with me. It was one hell of a relief. I'd rather be punished later. Right now, I wanted to reflect how I really spent my summer before the drama teacher steps in.

I had lied about spending the whole summer indoors. There was a day mom got home from work early and asked if I'd like to go out. I didn't want to turn her down as she wanted to go out with me. I agreed and we went to play table tennis. My mom is pretty good at this sport. She beat me flawlessly about 3times.
It's probably no excuse really but I'm going to blame her winnings on the fact that I left my glasses at he.
While playing, I noticed a girl ogling at me. Mom obviously saw her as she winked at me to go talk to the girl. I refused almost immediately. I'm the shy type of guy so I never like to cross the ladies part. I know a lot about dating and all but I never once practiced it. Mom even began to think I was gay. I did my all to convince her I was not.
We soon left without me making efforts to speak with the girl.

"Good morning students", Mr West, the drama teacher said aloud bringing my mind back to class.
"Good morning sir!", we chorused in response.
The drama teacher liked hearing voices. He says we must speak up and be bold.
He only had issues with me not being able to speak up. Hence, he always directed questions to me in the view of boosting my vocal confidence.

"Bring forth your holiday projects", I heard Mr West say.
This was my shine. He particularly loved my write-ups but hated the fact that I was coy.

Mr West began his class, discussing the various forms of drama in existence. During the course of his explanations, the bell went off indicating the end of the period.

The long awaited long break soon came and I was prepared for whatever was coming. Not wanting to add up to my wrongs today, I sat in the chair with my imaginary name on it. The T3 clique had made that my permanent seat. I only escape sitting in it when they are not present in school.

I sat down, about to launch my meal when it got shoved. I cursed under my breath and looked up to see Kate and the T3 getting their seats around me.
The T3 laughed heartily while Kate got more furious. She looked at Mike hoping he'd stop laughing and probably deal with me in her stead but he didn't and chewed his food.
I reached for mine and Kate turned it over that it messed up the cafeteria floor.
I was furious this time but I kept quiet and walked.

I took my bottle of water and walked off.
Surprisingly, I was not called back by T3 to watch while they chewed.

My day was getting better after being denied a meal.

The rest of the day moved slowly to me as I was in a hurry to get home and grab some lunch.
The bell finally rang to mark the end of the day and I grabbed my back pack and left before I got called back.
