I grab my phone and bag. I check my phone and it says 6:42 pm. I don't get why Harry wants to take me somewhere, but I honestly don't mind. I step outside and standing by the wall is Harry. He has his green bandana on that was most likely made from an old band shirt, and a white sweater with the sleeves rolled up enough to see his tattoos.
"Baby." He says in a low voice, and I suddenly feel small compared to the tall boy. He looks down at me sternly, then his face falls into a beautiful smile. "You came." he says, with a hint of confusion. I don't know what he expects, he basically told me he was picking me up, no matter what.
"Well, you gave me no choice!" I say playfully, but his eyes flash an emotion of what I think is hurt. Before I can rethink about what I said, he points in the direction for us to walk, and I follow by his side. "What do you want to show me?" I ask, and he doesn't answer, walking faster. I begin to jog next to him and he starts running away from me. I feel confused and begin to sprint after him.
"HARRY!" I call, worried it was about something I said before, but he sprints until he reaches a tree in our campus park. Our park on campus is called Washington Square park. It was next to a lake, and had a beautiful view of the sunset beggining to set through the navy blue waters. I look over at the weird boy next to me and he lay under the tree, with now bare feet. Finally, those terrible brown boots were off his feet. I catch up to him, and say "Harry, why'd you run from me?! Was it something I said earlier?" And he looked up at me with an evil grin, like he'd been playing with me all along.
"Oh, Baby. They all love the chase." He says, laying his head back down to look at the sky. My stomach flips and I take a second to understand what he had said. "They all love the chase." I repeat in my mind. Does he think I'm going after him?! I'd hope not. I am not going after a stupid stoner who has beautiful eyes and a warm heart.
"What do you mean 'they all love the chase'?" I ask, and he rests on his elbows, looking oh so familiar as he did last night.
"What I mean is that, when a girl wants you, she chases you. I ran, you chased. It's simple." He says, and I am as confused as ever. He leans up close and whispers, "You want me, Baby." in a husky voice, and I can't help but laugh. Is he serious?
"Sorry to burst your bubble, but I'm not interested. I'll be your friend, but I'm not that easy, Hun." I say a little too nervously to come across as confident. Harry notices and laughs.
"Hun? Wow you've already got a nickname for me?!" He shoots back, and my annoyance starts to build up. He is pushing my buttons in a way nobody has before, and it's irritating.
"You can't just get any girl you please, Harry. That's not how life works... Sorry for the reality check." I shoot back, gaining legitimate confidence. I know he's only playing around, but he's not going to push me around.
"I'm only messing with you, Baby. You are easy to pick on." He says, nudging my arm. Soon as his knuckles touch my arm, I feel the feeling as I felt last night... The magnetic force, if I may call it that.
"I know." I say, suddenly getting shy. I've known this boy for less than 24 hours and he already has me acting unusual. But Harry is only a friend, and he needs to know that. "You seem like a good friend." I say, and he sits up.
"You're certainly not fucking friend-zoning me, Baby. Not fucking happening." And I feel fear creep up my spine.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to... I take it back." I say quietly, and he begins to laugh.
"Don't be scared of me, I'm harmless." He says, the same tone I had sounded earlier; uncertainty in his words. I shrug it off and we continue to talk until the sun set upon the lake infront of us.
"The sunset is so beautiful." I whisper to myself, and I hear Harry mumble 'so are you.' Causing my heart to beat at an irregular pace. I don't think he intended to say that, or for me to hear, so I ignore the comment, yet keeping it in my mind.
"What time is it?" He asks, and I unlock my phone to see it's already 8:37 pm. I show him my phone and he stands up. "Let's go." He says, holding his hand out for me, and I accept it as he pulls me off of the grass under the tree. Once I'm up, our hands rest together for a moment, before I quickly pull away. He looks confused and hurt for a moment, but his face immediately looks away.
"Thank you for walking me home, Harry." I say. "The tree and lake had a beautiful view of the sunset" I continue as we reach my campus after a short walk. He didn't run away this time. He looks at his torn brown boots and smiles.
"I'll see you soon, Baby." He says, and we stand there for a moment awkwardly. I wrap my arms around his torso for a quick hug, and he quickly hugged me back. It only lasted for a moment though. A moment was all I really needed.
"Goodbye." I say once again, and he nods and walks down the corridor, and out the door. I can't help but smile; he brought me to a tree to see a sunset, and just talk. Well, he was annoying mostly, but I didn't mind.

"So, basically he brought you to a sunset, and you ONLY talked?!" Carmen half screamed, and I rolled my eyes and laughed. She has been bugging me for every detail for the past hour.
"Yes, we talked. Only talked, besides..." I start, and she leans over the dorm kitchen island to listen. "He's not my type... At all." I state. Half of me is right, but the other half is thinking about his slicked back hair and green eyes burning into mine. It causes me to flush red, and Carmen notices.
"You're thinking about him." She teases, and I let out a frustrated groan. How did Carmen know what I was thinking already?
"No." I lied, and she made a sassy sound of disbelief. "Alright, he's hot." I admit to not only her, but myself. "but... he isn't my type, and I barely know the guy, so let's drop it." I beg, and she let's the conversation slide. I'm grateful, as I cross the island to the cupboard, grabbing a cup. I fill it under the tap, letting the water run cold first. I check the time on our little microwave and it says 10:43 pm. I begin to feel tired, and decide to go to bed.
As I walk into my room, my phone buzzes, and I look at my screen. Harry's name appears on it once again tonight, and I open a text from him.
"I had fun tonight x -H " and my stomach flips for what seemed like the billionth time in the past 24 hours.
