Malory stepped out of the boat onto the rocky shore and slipped her bow over her head. She pulled her horse out after her. Her horse was a jet black mare. She was strong and had a very strong wil. Malory on the other hand had long golden hair and pale skin, she wasn't as strong as Sacara, but she did have a wil just as strong as her. Her brown leather pants, baggy shirt, and green cloak weren't her usual getup but it would blend in well with the forest once she got there.

"Are you sure you can handle this on your own?" Kyle said from in the row boat behind her.

"i'll be fine ok." Malory said not turning around but instead walking along the shore line to scanned the horizon and spotted her destination as a small dot in the distance. It will probably take me two or three days to get there, Malory thought. "You can leave now Kyle." Malory said feeling eager to get going

Kyle let out a long exasperated sigh and started to row away. Just befor he got too far away to hear he threw back something, it landed in the sand and he yelled back, "Just be careful ok!"

Walking over to where the thing landed she picked it up and found it was his lucky stone necklace. "Thank you Kyle." She said thinking out loud. "I will be careful." Suddenly she felt too exposed out in the open and started heading towards the line of protective woods in front of her. She had the feeling of eyes on her back the whole time she walked inland to the forest. Ever since she had accepted the offer to go on this expedition it seemed that she was always being watched.

She traveled through the woods for the last few hours of daylight that were left and then decided to make camp under an old oak tree. She couldn't make a fire or whoever was watching her would see it, so she just sat under the tree leaning up against her saddlebag and pulled out the bread and cheese she had packed for the journey and started eating.

It was already dark by the time she settled down for bed. She curled up in her thin blanket and tried to sleep. Sleep came slowly and wasn't the deep restful sleep she really needed right now. She woke three times that night from horrible nightmares.

****Early that next morning****

Covered in sweat from tossing and turning most of the night she finally just gave up and decided to go over how she was going to get into the town without being spotted as Marleganin. Each time she went over the plan the more she thought it was foolish. Her brother Manrdrine had planned it out for her and she was beginning to wonder why she let him. She couldn't change it now though so she just had to go with it.

The plan was to pull her hood over her head and ride a cart that she was to use her powers to build and get in by saying she had grains to sell to the people. But the problem was that the grains were going to be a hologram so if they tried to make sure they were real she would be dunn for. She would have been more comfortable if it were Kyle who had planned it. With that thought her hand instantly went to the stone around her neck. Why had he given it to her? If he thought she was in that much danger he would have gone with her. Right? She thought.

She went over the plan three more times before day broke and she gathered up her things. Still eating her breakfast, which was another helping of bread and cheese, she put her things on Sacara's back, mounted her, and headed off towards the town. Even though she was still a day or two away from the village she still felt like she should have the cart ready by now more than ever. The eyes that have been watching her all the time had come again very early this morning and she was getting very uneasy.

She turned Sacara towards the village and headed out making sure to check for any traces she had been there. By her calculations she had done a pretty good job of covering up the traces. With her magic it made it easier, she could clean up even the worst messes with her magic. It was a shame people didn't like it.
