Why did she leave us? When was she ever planning on coming back? Well obviously now but why? If she hadn't come back now was she just going to let us think she was dead?

All these questions and more were all floating around in Malory's head as she closed the door to the front of the house. She needed some air after what had just happened. Kyle insisted on going with her, he was the only one who didn't try to avoid looking at her. She tried to insist on needing to be by herself, but Kyle wasn't changing his mind.

Walking into the garden she climbed over the fence that encircled it. She was surprised to realize that the horses had jumped that. Well people and animals can do extraordinary things when they're afraid. Malory thought as she tossed her leg over to the other side of the fence. She barely payed attention to Kyle behind her. She thought she would take a walk in the forest to clear her head. She walked in into the forest hoping that it would help get her mind off what had just happened. She still couldn't believe that her own mother, who she had thought was dead for like her entire life, was behind those doors just behind her. She glanced back just before the house was out of view.

She picked up a stick up off the ground and swung it at some tall plants in the underbrush.

"Why!" Malory screamed, suddenly very emotional, into the forest in front of her. She collapsed onto her knees and cried into her hands. She had been holding back the tears since she had stepped out of her mother's room.

She leaned up against the tree next to her sobbing so harshly her shoulders shock. She honestly wished her mother had just stayed gone so she could still think she was dead. It hurt too much to think she had been alive this whole time.

"It honestly would have been better if she were dead." Malory said as Kyle sat down and cradled her in his armes. She was slightly glad he was there he always made her feel better.

"I don't know why, and her being dead wouldn't have been any better for you." Kyle said situating her in his arms so he could look into her eyes. "Not very good for me either. I never would have meet you." Kyle said looking into her eyes like he wanted to kiss her.

"But... Kyle you do know... right?" Malory said hoping he knew what she was talking about.

"Yes I know." Kyle said looking back in the direction of the house. "She's not my real mother." Kyle said looking back into her eyes.

"Yeah." Malory said so faintly that she was surprised to see him nod his head. As she looked back into his eyes she began to realise they were getting closer to her. Was he really going to kiss her? Malory thought as she sat there. Should I let him? He's like my brother. Her head was spinning.

She had no choice but to just let it happen she was to dizzy and lightheaded to be able to stand up, and she kind of wanted it to happen. Her head spun so fast she couldn't even say anything.

His face got increasingly closer. As he realised she wasn't gonna stop him he almost missed as he moved faster to get to her face before she changed her mind. Their lips met and Malory's heart lept. She was surprised to realise that she had wanted him to kiss her ever since she had figured out he wasn't her real brother. She always found him very attractive and he did care a lot about her.

His lips were so soft and just gently touching hers. She wanted to press for more of him. She wanted to be a part of him.

****Kyle's thoughts****

Oh my god. What am I doing? She's actually letting me kiss her? Kyle thought as his lips touched hers. I thought she just thought of me as a brother. This is the most wonderful day of my life. He thought.

He felt her relaxing and situating herself so they fit together like puzzle pieces. It was so wonderful. He knew she wanted more by the way she was pulling him closer but he slowly pushed her back. It was gentle to show he wasn't mad but she still looked upset when he looked into her eyes again.

****Malory's thoughts****

"What?" Malory asked as he pulled away and looked at her questioningly. "Is something wrong?" She asked looking back into his captivating eyes.

Oh it's nothing, but we should probably head back to the house. Larain wants us to be back for dinner." Kyle said getting up and helping her to her feet.

They headed back to the house. Malory was in a daze the whole time and didn't even remember how she got into her room other than the fact that she was so tired she fell asleep before she ate dinner.

****Casinara's thoughts****

"How will she ever forgive me? Should she forgive me?" Casinara thought out loud as she watched Malory, her daughter, walk into the forest with Kyle trailing after her. 'I wonder if Malory had figured out that her and Kyle were supposed to get married. Kyle is the prince of the royal council, and Malory was Sarantles's daughter that's why her eyes are a darker blue than her brother's eyes. She wished it wasn't so but she was sure neither of them knew. Sarantles doesn't even know that Malory is his daughter. If he had he would have said something about it. Right?

Her train of thought was lost as Sarantles walked into her room. She knew he was at the door but she still jumped when he came in. It was kind of hard not to jump when the person you were just thinking about just barged into your room. She was always afraid that he had heard her thoughts or something when he did that.

"What do you want?" Casinara said getting up from where she was sitting at the desk. She didn't want him to know she was watching them.

"Well what do you think I want?" He said sitting down where she had gotten up from and looking out the window just to see them as they disappeared into the forest. "I guess they don't know yet do they?"

"I don't know what you want, and do you think Malory would be talking to him if she knew. She would think that he set up the whole thing. Or even me for that matter. No she doesn't know ok." She said sitting on the bed and curling up into a ball like she always used to when she was sad.

"Please don't do that. You know none of this is your fault." Sarantles said looking at her sadly.

"How can i tell her? She'll never trust me. Ever. Why should she? After all I did abandon her. For christ sake she thought I was dead! What am I supposed to do besides blame myself?" Casinara said clutching her legs closer to her chest. She was so glad she could be completely honest with Sarantles.

"None of this is your fault. Now stop that. You're only putting yourself down even more than you should be in the first place." He said sliding out of the chair and onto the bed to wrap his arms around her. She loved it when he did that, it always made her feel safe.

"Thankyou. I know this isn't a good time but you need to know. I... Well I have loved you for a very long time as i told you earlier and... Well you deserve to know... " Just say it get it over with. He has to know. "Well... Malory is... She is your... Daughter." She wasn't surprised when he jumped back from holding her and practically fell off the bed.

"What!" He said scrambling off the bed and starting to rapidly pase.

"You herd me, I don't think I could say it again anyway." She said sitting up.

"Yeah but, you married-- What time are we talking about here?" He said stopping for a second to glance nervously at the door.

"Please stop passing and sit down. It happened when we had to share that room when we were at the carnival in--" She was cut off by the sudden screaming that came from the forest. It was a single word. 'Why!' That was it. Then silence. "Well I know exactly who that was." Casinara said looking out the window.

"Don't change the subject, and I remember what time you are talking about." He sounded almost angry. It kind of scared her. "

"Yes well I would like to get some sleep so if you are going to stay in here please be quiet. Ok?" Casinara said laying back down to face the wall again.

After a while he layed down next to her again. He wrapped his arms around her again and they fell asleep together. Just like that other night Casinara was tried to talk to him about.
