Chapter 8: The Fight

Reece's POV

"78 bottles of wine on the wall, 78 bottles of wi-"

"Leo, we're not on a road trip so what the fu-"

"Ah ah ah Reece. No bad words, we're going through a park and there's a kid right next to you." Leo informed.

I turn my head to see a kid picking is nose, then flicking what he found in his nose. Wonderful.

As we pass the park and cross a few roads, we arrived at the dark alley.

"Dude, wasn't someone murdered here a few weeks ago?" Jason asked

"Ya it was a fight between this one scrawny guy and a gang called Fire Blade, right?" Leo adds.

"Guys, it's all good, you both have been through two years of street fighting and me... well basically my whole life so it's no biggie." I say.

"No, Reece. The amount of training they get is 3 times the amount we'd get, they'd go to this teacher that supposedly never lost a fight in his whole life." Leo informs

"Please. Did he fight Alvin Shank?" I ask

"No duh. That's the first thing Shank told us before he started teaching us." Jason says.

Screech. That was the sound of a knife scratching against the wall.

"Well.. well... well..., what do we have here? A bunch of trespassers I suppose." I turn to see a guy wearing all black with 5 other people.

"Aha, so sorry you see we were about to leave, lovely place you've got here, again so sorry but I'll go now haha BYEEEE." Leo was ready to dash but I grabbed him before he could.

"What do you want?" I ask

"Reece, could you get any stupider!?" Leo whispers

"'Stupider' isn't a word Leo." Jason informs.

"Do you think this is the time for grammer!?" Leo whispers/screams.

"Are you guys done...?" Asked one of the 6 members.

"No, wait I have to lecture him about making up words." Jason says.

"I don't have the time for this." With that, the middle one that was supposedly the leader, threw a punch right into Leo's jaw.

"Why meeeee" Leo whines.

" 'Cause you're being an a$$ hole."

"Understood." Leo says.

Now let me tell you about Leo. He will act innocent until the perfect moment. Then he'll unleash his inner demons. And that's exactly what he did.

"Now I'll leave you boys with a warning and a sign so you'll never cross this path again." The leader nodded to a guy with a knife.

The Blondie walked up to Jason and slashed his arm. Not too deep, but enough to unleash Leo's demons.

"NO ONE, but me of course, CAN HURT JASON. NO ONE!" and with that the fight began.

Kicks and punches were thrown everywhere. But we only managed to knock out 2 of them before we were all on the floor bleeding.

I saw the leader walking up to me ready to step on my head and crush my skull. But it never came. No, he was pushed back by someone. A... girl? Darkness overwhelmed me. I passed out.

I was saying goodbye to Chris at school when it all started. One minute I was checking out old places that I used to go to all the time while I was still fighting to become the best at street fighting ( A/N: yes I changed that to street fighting) and the next minute I see my ex boyfriend fighting with my student.
