"Okay, so I'm not going to school today? No problem."

"Only because the full moon is tonight, and you're probably already starting to feel it." My mom said after nodding. "Is Scott and Stiles going to help you tonight?"

Scott.

Stiles.

The two main people I was suppose to tell my secret too, but I didn't. Why is the full moon tonight?!

"Yeah they are helping me, we're all meeting up at Lydia's lake house." I said after nodding.

Oh god, I'm lying. The only reason why we're meeting up at the lake house is because 1. It's a full moon. 2. Malia. And 3. Liam. There is no four and there is no me. I already spoke to Stiles about the plan they came up with and it seems to be working out. Turns out Kira is tricking Liam into going to a "cool junior party" which is actually Lydia's lake house so that we can make sure he doesn't tear up anyone tonight. But some tearing up, mangling, maiming, or just plain old disfiguring might happen with me tonight. I'm changing tonight.

Oh, help me god.

"I can't do this!" I yelled. "I cant just sit here waiting like this. All I'm feeling is pain and...uh-"

My dad quirked an eyebrow, "Anger?"

"Yeah, how did you know that?" I asked. "It's like hardcore mood swings happening right now!"

"I know the feeling." He chuckled, "But like Scott says, you gotta find an anchor of some sort. You do know what an anchor is to us right?"

"Anchor?" I asked while bitting my lip,"Like the huge heavy ones you drop in the water?"

"No." My dad replied. "Anchors to us, are people, well a certain person that can help us stay in control during full moons like this or any certain situation. An anchor is someone that provides that special hint of stability for us. An anchor is someone that can pull you back..."

"Like Stiles?" I asked.

My dad's green eyes stared straight into mine, "Yeah, he provides stability for you, so he can be your anchor."

Stiles.

The brown eyed boy that used to run with the wolves without me is my anchor. I forgot what it felt like to be apart from him. The only thing I got was a phone call and few texts from him today and I think I'm starting to miss him. I still can't believe how after everything, we still chose each other.
